Came in with my 9 year old son. Overall clean cozy environment. Son likes the mild salsa I very much enjoyed the hot salsa even... though I did not find any spice to it, the flavor was there. He had beef burrito with cheese sauce ( his standard order fromanywhere) and I had the enchilada suisse and it was well above average. Rice unremarkable the refried beans where tasty. I wouldsay all in all I walked out full and happy with our choice to come here and if I find myself in the area I will stop in again!!! Read more
The staff is wonderful! Where all the servers are your server, not just 1 person because they want to make sure your well taken... care of and you are. I had The Black Bowl which isn't on the menu and has shrimp, chicken and beef I believe. It is spicey anddefinitely flavorful. I 100% recommend this but make sure you have the time because the mocejte is heated to a very hightemperature so your food stays very hot but it is sooo yummy! I recommend ordering a side of rice to soak up some of the juices.I will order this again and again. Read more
My family and I have been going to El Fogon for years and it is hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Everytime I... come back I make sure to stop in. It is a family run business and local. The homemade tortilla chips and salsa are incredible.They have a hot version and a mild version. First time at El Fogon and I must say I was very impressed. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. I had the... Green Verde (pork) burrito and had them put the rice and beans inside the burrito instead of on the side. It was so much food Icould only eat half. The complimentary chips and salsa were also good. I couldn't stop eating them. There were so many itemson the menu that looked delicious, so I'll be back for more. Read more
Sizzling hot fajitas! Attentive, friendly staff in a clean southwestern themed motif. Ask for their HOT salsa if you it spicy.... I usually get their Chicken/Beef/Shrimp fajita salad, and my husband and a friend usually have their fish tacos. Withcourteous/friendly staff, and bottomless homemade chips and salsa, what's not to like about this place? We haven't had one badmeal/experience at El Fogon. Our cabin is about 25 miles away but we come eat at this place at least 3 times a week. In themeantime, our friend who lives in OK has been coming here almost everyday for many years. Busy place but the wait staff are sogreat at what they do, that waiting is NOT really waiting. They treat their patrons like family. This place warms out heart!! Read more
