i don't know why they have so many bad reviews the new general manager David really turned this place around. the food is always... fresh and even packed perfectly so you avoid making messes when you open your food. this restaurant has never been so clean inall its years. and the food is obviously wayyyy better then the location on 116th. this is the best taco bueno is oklahomahands down. This was the absolute WORST Taco Bueno I have ever been to. The temperature inside the place was freezing to a point where we... couldn't even stay inside the store, we had to take the food out to the car. Probably one of the worst Buenos in the area. The food was well prepared, but the service was inattentive and impersonal. The... onions were pretty rank and the hot sauce cups were swollen and soured. Despite discarding these items, all family members gotsick a half hour later with diarrhea and stomach cramps. They are so short staffed. The baked beans were burnt. Cinnamon chips were cold and little cinnamon on the chips. Taco Bueno is... either really good or really bad. I hope 86th in Owasso gets staffed and opens the lobby back up! Read more
I try to give this location the benefit of the doubt each time I go which is rare nowadays. Every time we go through the drive... thru, our order gets messed up. Either there?s items missing, grossly tossed together, or just wrong. Very disappointing seeingas I remember going there with my mom when I was younger and it being fresh and delicious. Maybe there?s not enough staff tokeep up with demand but if that?s the case just close the location and we?ll all just drive a little further for a decent tacobueno location that gets it right. Ever time I ask for extra beef in my combination burritos it's usually more beans and less beef and I have mentioned it to... them several times and nothing changes. Are you serious? Okay, I passed it off when we received the wrong number of items than we ordered because we received and paid... for what was rung up. I?ve worked in food service before sometimes mistakes happen. The Owasso location used to be the best Bueno in the state. There was always a line down the street for the drive in. Now it's... always dead because the food is horrible, the taco shells have the texture of cardboard, the food is Luke warm at best and thedining area is dirty and unappealing. I've finally givin up on Taco Bueno. And I don't eat at the Bell either. Soo sad! Read more
