Service was great and food came pretty fast. Large selection of local MN beers. Food was OK. I ate a French dip, Philly style... (onions, green peppers, and cheese). Meat was a bit on the light side and not very flavorful. Really only tasted the onions,which I do love. Will continue to keep looking for that great area restaurant on my next trip. Read more
I?m not one to look for something for which to complain when I dine out. Hopefully, I?m low maintenance and, until today, I?ve... ALWAYS been a generous tipper. Always over 20%, often 50% or more. Give me a sincere, friendly greeting, serve decent food,don?t make me wait to pay, and you?ll get a generous tip and, possibly a return visit. I had a Caesar salad that I only ateabout 1/3. Seemed like Italian dressing (NOT my favorite) rather than Caesar dressing. Lettuce was limp, but I would haveconsumed the entire salad had there been Caesar dressing. When the waitress asked how everything was, I indicated so-so whereupon she nodded her head yes and walked away. My major complaint is with the waitress?s unfriendly attitude almost verging onbeing hostile, from the moment we entered the restaurant. Not anything close to a smile or any friendliness. Her unfriendlinessresulted in my $1 tip. Had I been carrying a penny, it?s what I would have left. To be fair, Torey?s has a clean ambiance, andportions and prices were fair. Everything looked great. Sadly the ribs were cold when they arrived. Im not being mean when I say the chicken in the salad was... warmer. They reheated the ribs and it was to temp, but they was the hardest cutting ribs Ive ever had. They cut hard even beforethe reheat. The salad was great my fiance let me snack on it while I waited. The steak fries I got with the ribs were not greatas well. I did not expect what I got when I asked for it. My fiance said they tasted good, but I thought they tasted like thesmell of fish food. As well... they were the crunchiest form of potato Ive had in a while. They could of passed for chips. Thewaitress was nice and helpful so maybe I will come back. Fresh grouper from Florida pan fried and cajun style with a creole sauce. One of the best fish dishes I have had.
Torey?s knocked it out of the park for our wedding reception and rehearsal dinner! The space itself is beautiful, the staff is... attentive and accommodating and the food is exceptional. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue to host their nextevent. Read more
You have to try Torey?s new Hawaiian-inspired Opakapaka. It?s a fresh-caught Hawaiian Pink Snapper grilled perfectly on a bed of... fresh vegetables prepared in a homemade sweet & sour sauce. I love spicy food and added some sriracha to the veggies? it wasperfect! Read more
Two of us ordered the Chicken Bacon Swiss Sandwich w/fries, French Onion Soup and Deck Wings. The Chicken Bacon Swiss sandwich... was tasty although needed mayo or ranch dressing. It was served with lettuce and tomato. The chicken was moist and seasonednicely. The bacon was Smokey and meaty, the bun was soft and the fries were good. The Deck wings were coated in a tangy SweetBBQ, real good, deep fried and grilled nicely. The French Onion soup was delicious. Lots of onions and melted cheese, greattasting broth, a little sweetness. Highly recommend. Nice selection of tap beers. The food is priced well, a very good value. The restaurant is comfortable, nicely decorated, well maintained and clean. The bathrooms are very nice and clean. The downsidewaited 20 minutes to get the bill. The waitress was not able to multitask. This is our third visit here and we will visit againwhen in the area. Definitely recommend Torey?s. Read more
Fantastic environment with top notch food, staff, and drinks. Very reasonably price for the quality you get. A must visit in... town, haven't been disappointed by a single item on their menu. A gem in Owatonna. Custom built my burger as well. Even keptmy daughter entertained while finishing eating. Not enough good to say about this place. Read more
