Stopped in for a last minute purchase of goodies for a gathering, and everything was amazing! Cheesecakes, cookies, cream... puffs, and cupcakes, everyone raved about them. Packaged well and easily transferred to a platter for a great presentation. Staff and owner (spoke with on the phone) was helpful. Can't recommend enough. This is absolutely a five star business run by five star people. I've had a little bit (or in some cases A LOT) of what they... have to offer - cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, pizza boats, and our personal favorites - cake pops. Everything there is perfectionin both taste and presentation. Mike is one of the warmest and most genuine people to do business with. My fiancee and I havealways been so pleased with everything that there was no doubt who we would call upon for our wedding desserts. To anyone whohas not frequented this establishment I couldn't possibly recommend them more. Absolutely phenomenal in their work! From their fresh baked treats to the frozen entrees, you really can't go wrong! Always was... a highlight when passing through to Owego. I haven't had a chance to stop by in a while but I think about their treats everyday. I recommend the sausage stuffed shells and whatever fruit pastry they have ready for the day! My husband bought me a Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (traditional Black Forest cake) yesterday and it is TO DIE FOR!! Several... months back I stumbled upon this establishment while browsing local bakeries. Every year for my birthday my husband gets mewhatever specialty cake I've chosen and with the exception of 1 year now I've ALWAYS gone for a Black Forest cake. When I sawthey had chocolate cherry desserts posted periodically I knew I wanted my next birthday cake from here. Now, over the yearsI've tried 3 other local bakeries and while they've all made delicious cakes THIS one is the absolute best I've ever had! I wasraised by my straight-off-the-boat German Oma and THIS is the cake I remember from all our celebrations and traveling inGermany! The rich cake, the kirsch liquor, the perfect cherry filling and whipped cream! It is heavenly!!! I can't recommend C &M Sweets enough!! WORTH EVERY CENT!! Read more
C & M recently made our wedding cake. From the initial email to the final Cake was an outstanding experience. They made sure... to pay attention to every detail we wanted on the cake! It truly was amazing piece of art and oh my was it delicious!! We hadgotten some sweets when we had stopped in a time or two. Amazing! I will definitely be stopping in there more often and I woulduse them for any occasion! From cookies to cakes to even dinners from their cooler! Very personable and easy to work with! Stopped here randomly one day. Such a cute little place! We went inside to find a table full of sweets on one side, a small... refrigerator on the other, along with some coffee items. We noticed a sign that indicated they went by an honesty policy, as noone was there. We were picking our items and counting out or money to leave when one of the owners came in. He informed us thateverything is made from scratch from working with old family recipes. He also let us know that if we were to stop and needed topay by card and no one was home (the shop sits on the owners' residential property), we could give them a call and run the cardnumber over the phone. Aside from some yummy baked goods, we also purchased from local eggs (which they use in theirdesserts). Neat little place, but need on the lookout.... Easy to miss! Super friendly owner! Really great baked goods and the owners are very nice. Nothing better then a complementary cup of coffee to have with your... goodies.. Loved the strawberry rhubarb pie. It was the best. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Read more
