CHEF WOK IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE in the ENTIRE CITY! I only gave it 4 stars because Im wishing theyd open another restaurant in... the other side of the peninsula so I wouldnt have to bribe the only person in our house with a lisence to drive me into OwenSound when my cravings strike! Lol! The food is delightful! We always order 2 or more different dinners off the individualdinner menu depending on how many of us are eating & make like a buffett when we get home. Everyone gets decent size portions oftheir favorites, we stuff ourselves silly & usually have enough left over for the next days lunch! The folks that left badreveiws, I just cant see how they had a bad experience! Ive been ordering from them for over 20 years RELIGIOUSLY, these finefolks have seen my family thru bday dinners, quick dinners, just me at home & treat myself dinners all these years, the foodsALWAYS fresh, hot, huge portions, excellent variety of all the best & favorite choices ud see others & urself order at anychinese food restaurant, theyll even mix & match if u are POLITE & ask giving a reasonable explanation(ie: allergies). Its beena while since my last visit & i actually honestly was expecting their prices to go up..as they should but prices havent gone upby much & for the meal u receive for the price u pay ITS BAR NONE THE BEST in the entire city...& ive been dragged reluctantlyto the all the others & the quality, quanity of the food in those other restaurantsfor the price u pay...TRUST ME U ARE BETTEROFF to order Chef wok & eat at home!(or wherever u choose to of course!) Fantastic, General Tao was amazing. Chicken fried rice had big chunks of chicken. Just go and eat here!
Chicken is always swimming in sauce and I always get a hard knuckle or bone from the sesame chicken and it almost broke my tooth... the last time. Noodles are old and sooo greasy you can tell they reuse old noodles and overall know that everything u eat fromhere comes from a bag frozen. Nothing wrong with that you get what you pay for but they still mess it up. I love their foods. Very Tasty, right on time & many. We ordered chicken fried rice, beef lo mein, orange chicken, sweet & sour... pork, eggrolls (not in picture) & fried shrimp. We have ordered in the past & there?s time the foods were not to their regularstandard but we give them another try. Overall, it worth the money you spent. Read more
Food was made fast hot and fresh. Service was very friendly and the prices were good. Had the chicken balls, Shanghai noodles,... wontons, almond vegetable, and beef fried rice. All of it was excellent. Perhaps not the best I've ever had but certainly verygood. Would definitely have it again when in town. Read more
Best in town for quick take out. Food smells and tastes awesome.
