Food was really good, as usually. It was sad, that we sat down and waited and waited, until the hostess came around again and... asked if the server had even been there to take our drink order. We told her no. I've been a server since I was 16 and I wouldnever leave a table sitting for that long without at least acknowledging them. The hostess took our order after us waiting for awhile and about 10 minutes later our server finally showed up. She said she knew she was late and that the hostess had to takeour order and then we didn't really see her too much after that. She would pop around to see how we were doing, but it wassomeone else who brought our food out and when I asked her for a refill, someone else brought it out. She only came for thepayment and tip, which I think she should have only gotten 1/5th of, since 4 other people did her work for her. Also it wasn'tthat busy that she needed people to do the work for her, there were maybe 5-6 tables in her section and maybe 10 tables in thewhole restaurant, unless she was the only server working!? Our server was great and understanding about the gluten allergy for my company. The nachos were a good deal for the amount we... got. The wing special ( Half prices wings $7.50 lb on mondays ) was an amazing deal! Plus they were very delicious andcooked/sauced properly . When visiting Owen sound this is always my go to stop for their chicken breast with mash and vegetables which I absolutely love.... Their wings are also amazingly crunchy and tasty. Today I decided I wanted something different. The waitress suggested theCanadian burger which she suggested recently changed to Angus Beef. I was a bit hesitant at first but really wanted to trysomething different. This burger was amazing!! Perhaps one of the best burgers I’ve had. The apple bbq sauce was the perfectsauce for it. I also subbed fries for sweet potato fries and this was perhaps one of the better ones I’ve had. Sometimes itcould be soggy but these were crunchy. I would definitely recommend this location and the meals I’ve mentioned. Yummy!! Mymom had the fish, she thought it was a small portion but thoroughly enjoyed it. Read more
Service was terrible once we first arrived, we waited 8 min before we were seated, our new server after we were seated was kind... and proceeded to take our orders, we received our drinks after 20 min of being in the restaurant, received our food after wewere there 50min, we watched servers walk by 15 times over a napkin that had been on the floor and no one picked it up until mymy mentioned it to a server after a young girl almost slipped on it, the steak came out cold, the potato was warm and basicallycold barelyany cheese or bacon on it, the garden salad was terrible and not fresh at all ,deep fried pickles were soggy,theonion rings were not fully cooked all the way through and was doughy once bitten into, the fries were good burger was good, butthe onion rings on the burger again were not fully cooked , the bacon was no fully cooked and much like rubber, it was nottotally budy for the 8 servers that were on the floor , london is much busier and has better quicker service, we notified theserver we were not pleased with how our food came out, she offered to get the chef to re cook our meals we delined at this pointwe have now been here for 1 hour, the manager came to our table and offered to take our appetizers off of the bill, it did notreally make a difference at the end of bill total, we will not be coming back to Montanas at this location , we simply came herebecause montanas is usually consistent and the food is cooked well , not true at this location to top it all o ff it was my wifeand I anniversary dinner, and it was terrible..... we were also offered 10 dollars off our next visit at this location wepolitely declined . Excellent atmosphere and meal. Staff were very helpful, timely, and generous & kind. Meal was cooked perfectly. Had the steak... and I’m particular, but this one was cooked perfect. Great job. Read more
