Everyone was so kind here, I appreciate the friendly service. We had 2 Cesars, which aren't really my thing but tasted pretty... good actually! Had the ribeye steak and double baked potato & some steak sandwich with onion rings. The food was great, decentvalue, huge portions. I couldn't even finish and I was legitimately hungry. Could have been seasoned more, both the steak andveggies, but I find that with a lot of steak places, gotta cater to the masses. Potatoes were phenomenal though, you have to getit double backed though, there is no other way! Onion rings were nice and crisp. Mushrooms tasted great and again normally nota fan. Straightforward place, house made taziki was next level, you should try it. Good experience, really nice people and Iwould come back to try other things on the menu because the food was good! Unexpectedly found ourselves looking for dinner in Owen Sound. Googled "best burger" in Owen Sound and came up with... Shorty's.....they did not disappoint. This was probably one of the best, if not the best, burger I have ever had. A huge thanksto the owner who happened to be in the kitchen that night, and a huge thanks to every staff member we met. Was with a group of 30 last night, and the best part of the night was our waitresses. Allison handled the room like a seasoned... pro!! Her attentiveness was above and beyond. Hope shes part of the management team, if not she deserves to be with a huge payraise...hopefully be back to Owen Sound next year Read more
