Great experience all around. We were seated right away and offered menus and drinks. Ordered the pretzels, chicken and brisket... tacos. Really loved this place. Amazing service and our order arrived quickly and tasted delicious. Perfect date spot. I decided to stop by for a late lunch today. The restaurant was moderately busy, but I was immediately greeted by the staff and... told I could pick any available seat. Fajitas were the daily special, so I ordered that. Three stuffed fajitas arrived shortlyate my table. A lime wedge and sour cream were served in the side. I should have asked for hot sauce as that is the only thingthat would have improved my experience. Next time. I?m happy to recommend this meal and this restaurant. Read more
Service was amazing, I?m a big picky and the server was patient and answered all my questions. I had the beef brisket poutine... and it was amazing. My family had the pulled pork sandwich and the beef brisket horse radish sandwich that I grabbed a taste ofand was also very very good. The wings were pretty huge but I had no chance to taste it. I would like to preface this with the fact that I was unable to give the restaurant a chance to fix this situation. Due to being... to far away to want to take the food back and it already being 7:20pm by the time we figured out the mess up. (They closed at8pm the night we went). We had ordered; Pullpork sandwich, Ceasar salad on the side. -A brisket sandwich, with coleslaw on theside. -A regular poutine. I was super excited to try this as they have stellar reviews online. So after paying $65 plus tip, weheaded back to where we were staying. However, what we recieved was drastically different. Very clearly someone else's order andnot an order I ate much of. We recieved; -Grilled Cheese sandwich, pasta salad on the side. -Montreal Smoked meat sandwich,pasta salad on the side. -Their Pretzel, with the sauce. -A separate side of the same pasta salad. Not only do I believe I overpaid for this meal but I didn't eat much of it either. The grilled cheese had both feta and cream cheese on it, along with someother kinds of cheese, it was way to rich. The Montreal Smoked sandwich was the only thing I ate much of and even that IMO wasnot worth $18. The meat itself was good but as a whole sandwich there wasn't much else to it. The pasta salad was the ultimatelet down. It was a casual pasta salad that you'd get at a BBQ potluck with your friends. Eatable but not something I'd want toorder from a restaurant. The pretzel, my partner absolutely loved actually so that was something he was fine to eat, the sauceit came with though was not great. Unfortunately we don't live in the area and aren't really able to go back to give it anothertry, as I would have loved to have actually tried what we originally wanted and paid for but if we are ever around the areaagain, I would do dine in... Was a complete experience, from apps, mains and desert! I got wings which were far better than some wing chain places and... pretzel with the cheese and honey mustard sauce was amazing. The pulled pork sandwich was a perfect mix of juicy, sweet meat. Toend it all the brownie white chocolate cake was unreal, it was suprisgly soft and light with all the flavour you'dexpect! 10/10 would do it again. Read more
Stumbled upon this place after we couldn't get into our original place and I'm glad we did. It's new so we had a choice of... anywhere to sit on the patio as the inside was being finished, but we wanted the patio anyways. The patio was a nice clean areawith a good amount of seating and patio lights. We were served by a waiter named Rusty who was very friendly and attentive in anon annoying way. We ordered the hummus platter and the 3 tacos with beef brisket. The hummus platter comes with a house madeblack bean hummus and a sundried tapenade which was amazing! The flavors in the tapenade were wonderful. The tacos were alsovery flavorful. Being on a quiet part of the street is so nice for a patio downtown. You could look out and see the water andgrain silos. Definitely will be returning to try more of the menu. Read more
Just amazing food. I had the deluxe burger, my dining partner had the brisket sandwich. We were both very pleased and well-fed.... Not crazy undo-your-pants sized portions, but a full meal of very high quality food. And affordable enough that I didn't mindgetting dessert (pecan pie, and it was glorious). Staff were great, food was brought out quickly, and the decor is quitenice. In short, eat here! Read more
