Moved here from Michigan and this was our first time at a Huddle House. Service was great and food was fantastic, I don't... understand how anyone could think Waffle House is better. Waited 30 minutes for a waitress to take our order, 45 minutes for drinks and over an hour for food. The food was good but the... service or lack there of was not acceptable. At one point, we were the only customers in the restaurant and there were twoservers and a hostess so they were not short staffed. Absolutely, worth the drive to the nearest waffle house to scratch thesame itch. Read more
It took 1 hour and 25 min to get four pancakes and an egg platter. And when we walked in, they were not busy. Empty tables... everywhere. Then three other tables got sat and got food before us. We only got our food when we did because I started askingabout it. The reason for the delay was that the grill was too small to cook all the pancakes, so they did some orders ahead ofus. I should have left at that point. But I had four hungry girls. I get short staffed and everything, but this was ridiculous.Server was nice but I'm never ever going back. I could have eaten three times at waffle house the amount of time we were there,so next time, we definitely will. Food would have been hot, at least. Read more
Like, wow. I haven't been in a huddle house in years and was, frankly, blown away. Our server was fantastic, the buffalo shrimp... hit the spot so well, and it was so bright and welcoming inside! Thank you for a great meal! Read more
It will be a long while before I go back here. And its a shame, because the food is good and I think the cooks are working hard... to please. But the service was down right atrocious. It took about 25 minutes to get drinks after we ordered while the serverwas refilling other tables' drinks. Other people who sat after us got their food and where half done before ours was deliveredto the table. No checking on the food after. Coffee was not refilled until we were fed up and ready to go. Waitress staffseemed to be complaining about each other and they were doing it within earshot of the customers. Its utter disarray there andwe will be taking a long hiatus from this place in hopes management can do something to improve service. Read more
Wow. You place an online order, it confirms your order and tells you it will be ready in 10 minutes, and then you finally show... up only to realize no one is at the restaurant. The lights are on as well as the tvs. You know what the only problem is. No oneis inside. I placed an order at 10. Supposedly Huddle House doesn't close until 12 am. Why is it that at 10:10 there is no onethere? Why are the lights on? Why did it let me put my order in the first place if the restaurant was unattended? This is badservice and overall poor. How can you let someone place an order and not even have anyone there? All the employees just left. Noone is here. So I just spent $22 for a meal after working all day only to come to this. Rest assure I will never come to thisHuddle House ever again. I just can't believe the audacity the employees and the management have with leaving the restaurantwhile it's technically supposed to be open. Before I leave this I have to make note that from the door I can see the computerscreen in charge of taking orders. There are 4 others who placed meal. I?ve always enjoyed the breakfast at this Huddle House Location, but yesterday I had their lunch for the first time and while... the food itself was fine I ended up sick later that night, I didn?t have any breakfast and shared the same dinner as my friendsand they were fine from that so I?m lead to being something I ate here for lunch made me sick, I hope this doesn?t happen againbecause my family really likes this restaurant and the staff are super nice but if the food makes me sick then this just ain?t agood place for me to eat Read more
Stopped for breakfast this morning,sit yourself, so we sat down at a table that needed to be cleaned. The waitress brought us... our menus and took drink orders. She forgot to bring us straws for the drinks. I guess I should?ve said something about thetable being cleaned, but she seemed to be in a hurry. Brought us our food, but no silverware. I had toast, but needed to ask forjelly. By the time we were done eating, she asked if there was anything else. Five minutes earlier, I could?ve used a refill onmy water. The food was good, but the service was lacking. Like I said usually when they bring you a drink, they will bring you astraw, Especially that we had two small children. And how are we supposed to eat our food without any silverware? Read more
