Food was good, inside was not terribly busy, but the restaurant has a clearly devoted pick-up clientele so they still were kind... of slow on the orders. Nice muted atmosphere Read more

First time at this restaurant server was nice. But seniors bring flash light. Lighting is dark. Very hard seeing menu. Our meal... wasn't very hot! Seen our food siting under the lamps for....some time maybe that's why food wasn't to taste. With all cookslooked like 3 behind kitchen two dishes sat while waiting on burgar? And with meal you get???? some kind of plain raw dough. For rolls. Tasteless. No butter/oil to dip...tasted like raw dough asked the server what they were. Said toasted in fire oventoasted? Really.. had side of brussel sprout with meal. Omg. Not only my self got sick off of them. If wasn't for the servergave one star they had sign hiring. Soon as you walk in. And you might not got service you want truth ! M.m. server was nicebut. Service was poor she was busy at the bar bill was over 100. With no drinks.... 3 cheap meals range. $20/25 husband. Hadburgar no French. House salad instead was changed extra 250 ! Wouldn't mind paying but meals weren't!! And like to eatwarm/hot food.not watching my food siting under heat lamps and can't get hold of server was busy at bar...????won't be back Read more

Visited Tortora's, this location is almost like two separate restaurants. One side is more bright and open, the other is a... dimmer more intimate type. We ate at both sides while we were visiting the area and in both instances, the food was great.Excellent Pasta and Pizzas. Read more

Went to the wood fire grill side for the first time this past weekend. I loved the atmosphere, perfect for date night! I had the... filet and it was excellent. My husband had the salmon and it was very good as well. The service was great. We will be goingback soon and I will post pictures. Definitely recommend! Read more

We ordered the Tortora's Supreme and they do not skimp on the toppings even in this economy. The leftovers served me well, too.

Every time I have gone to Tortoras it has been not good. This was the last straw for me. I arrive early before the dinner... crowd at 4:40 and get seated. When I look at the menu and ask what the difference is between the small and dinner portion andshe would say only that there was a two ounce difference after the multiple attampts to see if she could help me guage itbetter. She was very cold, and to be honest other wait staff in the past has been very cold too. I ordered mozzarella sticksand baked ziti. She never brought out the mozzarella sticks and the baked ziti was the saddest unbaked ziti of my life. Therewas nothing baked about this and was very bland. When the food was brought over I asked for the mozzarella sticks again, andshe asked if it was to go. I finally received them, but they seem no different than the bulk mozzarella sticks you get at thegrocery store. While I was still eating, she came over twice to ask me if I want a to go box. I am not a slow eater, so therewasn't any confusion if I was done or not. Also, in the middle of my meal she asked me if I wanted dessert. For the time I wasthere and all the wait staff lingering around, they seem pretty rushed to get me out of there. Read more

3.5 star. I've been here a few times over the years and it's the same thing each time, decent food but kinda steep prices. The... gluten free pizza is a more expensive choice, but my complaint was, the charges for adding toppings are fine as long as you geta decent amount of those toppings. It looked like they took 1 slice of ham for the whole 10" pizza. I had to break up jalapeñosto get some on each piece. And the spinach we paid for seemed to only be on one side as well. Also the cherry tomatoes werestill cold!!! Not going to say Domino's is better quality, but you get more bang for your buck; the one in Hampton Cove willload the heck outta that gluten free Pacific Veggie. Tortoras IS better than Earth and Stone Wood Fired Pizza though; E & S isvery skimpy on toppings (at least the one near Campus 805 was, their pizza was just as costly or even more so and had way lesstoppings that I paid extra for. It was sad.) Also at Tortoras, my husband's calzone was 65% bread. He had one little scoop ofbacon/pepperoni and cheese inside. This is kind of typical for calzones, but just fyi, don't expect fuller ones here. The cheesybread was also very bready and not so cheesy...very thin layer of cheese. But the bread was decent quality. All in all the foodtastes good/seasoned well/good quality... but you've got to know what you're in for with their pricing. We will be back butprobably in another year or so! Domino's has been awful about answering the phone so we headed here for a pizza craving.Tortoras quality/seasonings are better but not worth the cost difference for me. I think it was $5-7 more per a 10" gluten freepizza (how I order toppings). So not awful, but that adds up over time. Read more
