My first trip to Ernesto's MB&G did not disappoint. Chips were good, salsa was good, more of a medium heat compared to the mild... at most places. I had the Pollo Azteca lunch which was great, and I felt good about myself for eating vegetables. Chicken wasreally good and tender. Cheese sauce was really good. Ernesto does not just sling food at you and drop your check on your table. He literally greets you at the door, addresses you by... name...is not above seating you himself or personally delivering your food to your table. The food is beyond delicious and theportions are generous to the point that I have NEVER been able to finish my meal and definitely needs to be a part of yourOwensboro experience if you are looking for the best Mexican food in town...if you are the type that likes a "foodie"challenge...such as "eating the whole thing" is your game...then 'The Anaconda ' needs to be added to your list...and last butnot least...If you are a margarita fan...you have found your nirvana...enjoy!!!!! The food was amazing but when I had to call them before I got in the restaurant I did have someone answer the phone that was... being very sarcastic. Unfortunately my husband A diabetic attack and his blood sugar dropped, when I let them know and askedfor a cup of orange juice they helped me and got it quickly for meOverall I would recommend Ernesto‘s.
