Ordered ramen noodles for pick up today, was told 20-25 minutes wait, but instead had to wait over 45 minutes until the order... was ready, half of that time was inside the restaurant. I've only eaten the sushi. Always fresh. Nothing fancy. My only issue is that I'm pretty sure the white tuna is Escolar(learned... the hard way). So don't eat too much of it. My family and I have gotten carry-out from Edomae Sushi at least once a week for many years. The quality of the food is so good... I cannot eat at any other sushi restaurant and be satisfied. Trust me, I’ve tried to on the one day they are closed (Monday)and have learned I’m better off waiting until the next day. The owner, Angel, is truly one of the hardest working and kindestentrepreneurs I’ve met. Even during peak dinner rush hours, she is positive and attentive; Angel is someone I’m always happyto see each week. We’ve tried many dishes over the years but our favorites will always be the Salmon sashimi taco, ChefSampler, and Rock n roll. The food is 10/10 and the service is 11/10! Read more
The quality is going down. Maybe I'm used to how it was before. But when I used to get the Una Don, I'd get the eel filet over... a nice bowl of rice. Now I get the left over nigiri pieces on a plate. Maybe it helps with their profit margin. It's $18 andlooks nothing like the menu picture. Stick with tempura if you're not getting sushi. Not only is the sushi and food here consistently delicious, but the people are wonderful! Thank you to Angel who is very... generous and treats me and family so well! A great friendly but business focused experience. Nice host and waitress but didn't talk too long to ruin my private dining.
