This was our 2nd time visiting from Houston. Needless to say, we will be back. We could eat here multiple times per week. The... service was excellent, the food came out hot, fresh and quick, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. They do offer a militarydiscount. We had the wings appetizer, and I enjoyed the chicken and waffles as my entrée. The chicken was cooked perfectly andremained juicy even as leftovers. The waffle was fluffy and melted in my mouth. Overall this is a great breakfast spot in a snazzy location. They have a lot of the breakfast classics as well as some unique... and more adventurous options. I played it safe with the french toast and really enjoyed it. My wife also liked her pancakes.Service was friendly and we were able to get a seat right away on a Sunday morning. I choose to focus on the fact that I had an excellent time with his twin and wife and not that this food made me sick as a... dog!!! I had a wonderful weekend planned and unfortunately this was my first and last stop. I will never patronize this placeagain. Not to mention the waitress looked annoyed every time we asked for anything that she should have brought out anyway. I haven’t been to Eggspectations in a very long time. My friend and I asked the waiter a few suggestions of items to try. We... had the Cajun Shrimp and grits (not pictured because it was devoured too soon :-( they were absolutely divine. We also had thechicken and waffles and the firecracker shrimp. Amazing dining experience. From the hosts to the server and even busser went above and beyond. Our server was Brandon. He... offered me options on what I could substitute because I am on keto. He was attentive and extremely nice. I ordered the meatlovers omelette and my friend ordered chicken and waffles. BOTH were delicious and seasoned to perfection. Overall I will beback for sure!
