I own a business across the street from Chip's Place so I eat there quite often, probably too much. I can't help it though,... their food is always good and super quick. We placed a order from their order delivery button and I called them to confirm they got the $322.00 order, Maddie had answer... and stated they did not have it I asked her if she knew where the order had went she stated it would go to owosso eats, i askedif she could confirm they got a order from them and she became very rude with me, I had then hung up to call them and my friendhad called Chips back to see if she couch gather information as Maddie was very rude and would not help me. She was told theydont work with google "we aren't google" and was yelling at her then hung up on her, with no help to our issue we haveexperianced. At this point we had no clue where our order was and did not help with issue. I asked to speak to a manager, I hadbeen refused to talked to a manager as Maddie stated she was the manage. Came from another state was visiting family....wanted to take the family to eat somewhere new. Found Chips. First off the man... behind the counter was very short and rude. Asked questions about the menu and he acted as if I was bothering or interruptingwhatever it was he was doing.Asked if he could substitute fries for Mac and cheese for a kids menu item...answer was no he couldnot do it that he would have to charge me. So I told him sure, then he asked if I still wanted the fries...I said yes since Ihad to pay for each entree. Ordered 6 items in total. To say the least the food was ok...won't order again as it wasn'tmemorable. They should at least clean their grease as the mini corn dogs were too burnt for my 4 year old to eat. The chips wereburnt and dark from old grease. I will give them kuddos as they make their own chips. The portions were appropriate for theprice, but lacked flavor. The meals looked like they were slopped together. The outside and inside of the building leavesnothing to the imagination except it looks rundown and old..a dive of a joint, with flies all over the inside...thank God I didnot eat inside, my order was take out. Asked the same man that took the order how long the place has been open and how long hehad worked there. He said the place is older than him and has been in same spot for at least more than 30 years. Small unassuming place from the outside. Don?t let it fool you, though. The food is great. We started with breadsticks. The... sticks, homemade butter and homemade pizza sauce were fantastic. I had deep fried tacos and my wife had an olive burger. Bothwere great, but the olive burger sauce was top notch. The waitress was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Calzone...bland sauce..didn't like the chunky sauce .. Paid $9 for a 3 item regular size. Personally not impressed with the... calzones,I might give their pizza a try but they're sauce was not flavorable. Read more
