The restaurant is located in the Oxford Inn, an early 20th century (or older) restored hotel with 7 rooms. The restaurant has a... very small classy period bar on one side of the restaurant and we enjoyed a couple of craft beers while waiting for the dinnerservice to begin. The menu is mostly Italian with a few Chesapeake Bay inspired offerings. My lady guest ordered the calamariwhich was very light and tender followed by a local flounder entree.. I enjoyed escargot (unshelled) which were excellent, followed by a Caesar salad and a tender duck breast as my entree. The wine list was extensive. A creative dessert menu but wewere already quite satisfied. Ample easy access free parking. A very pleasant romantic dining experience for us. Read more

I took a small vacation over to the east coast and had to stop by this amazing restaurant!! I had the fried calamari for an... appetizer, the Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken Parm and for dessert the Cheesecake. I don’t think I’ve ever been thissatisfied at any restaurant before but this one checked all the boxes. The service was amazing, the food was all homemade whichkept making me dig into it more even after I was getting full. The portions are generous. I couldn’t believe how tastyeverything was. And don’t let me get started on the cheesecake…. To Die For!!!! Definitely not like any other cheesecakeI’ve had before, you’ll have to order it to see what I mean. Everything was just superb. I will definitely be flying back tothis spot! Read more

Absolutely fantastic Italian restaurant. We boated in to Oxford and took a short walk from the marina to get here. The town is... beautiful. Cocktails and wine selection are excellent. The mint juleps are highly recommended. Delicious escargot, hugeshrimp cocktail, and amazing Caesar salads. The entrees are large with all ingredients made from scratch. Save room fordessert as everything is home made and delicious as well. Truly worth the trip from wherever you are coming from and a realhidden gem on the Tred Avon River. 10/10 Read more
