Decided to try the OX again it has been years. Happy to say, our French onion soup was very good not salty & hot I ordered Fish... tacos fish was fresh (cod) slaw was a bit dry (no seasoning or wetness) avocado, tortilla we're good. Nice texture and warm.Pink sauce (needed a bit more, my preference) My niece had the Chicken Sizzler, looked delicious and the special sauce wasgreat. Only reason for getting one star is because the waiter was the only good thing about the place. The salad was meteocre and they... didn't have the salad dressing that my husband ordered. My soup was good nothing spectacular and was served warm (not hot).Asked for no peppers with the chicken skillet and comes with lots of peppers. But the worst thing was the Mac and cheese. Ittasted so Blane and hardly any sauce. I had box make and cheese with much better flavor. So we asked to pay for just the coffee,salad and soup that came with our dinners. The manager came and talked to us...apologized and was sorry for our first experiencethere. Then she proceed to say she will take care of it. I guess she meant she will ring the bill up for us. $15.00 forbasically nothing and an horrible experience. Word advise for the management. Went in for dinner tonight with my Aunt and Grandma. Not from the area, but thought it looked cool. Food was great, service was... awesome. It was pretty busy in there and nothing took a long time! I will definitely be back. Sadly I didn?t get our waitressesname but she was awesome. Read more
The food was great and Hannah V. was an awesome server. She came by at least six times to ask how everything was. My Diet Coke... was just under half full when she came over with another. Hands down the bus restaurant in downtown Oxford! I ordered the chicken sizzler with a side of veggies... Total dish had amazing... flavor! We also ordered blackened salmon which wasn't on the menu yet we requested and they made it just as amazing! The overallatmosphere feels like a high-end restaurant with large food portions and low-end prices. If you're new to Oxford or passingthrough the area definitely come check out ox Bar and grill...
