The food was fantastic! The service was awesome! The wait time was low and we didn't feel rushed with ordering or eating. The... sushi was flavorful and filling. I also loved hearing the staff provide their honest opinion about menu options - and not justwhether they liked it or not, but they provided details of the experience in flavor of the food! Went during non peak hours around 4pm, only few patrons dining at that time. Was offered regular seating or hibachi, we sat on... the regular side. TVs were turned on in front and in back, radio was loud and on some weird pop station. The waiter we had wasnice and had accent. He was very polite, matter of fact, and refilled drinks once. The menu was more than adequate. There was aplethora of options. We ended up with the three regular roll special and the spicy chicken soup. The spicy chicken soup wasSPICY without much flavor. The rolls were “ok” at best. I’ve had better sushi at a Chinese buffet which is saying a lot.One of the rolls (can’t remember the name of it) had huge globs of this mayonnaise/ketchup concoction on top of it which wasoff putting but once removed tasted the most like actual seafood. The miso soup was decent, the ginger dressing on the salad wasactually good. I think it was my favorite besides the wasabi which was fresh and zingy. The ponzu was decent quality as well. The staff appeared bored and just stood around horseplaying, singing with the radio, dancing, and staring at others while theyate. It was very unprofessional and quite rude. The restaurant was clean as well as the restrooms. There was designated parkingout front for pickup orders and it seemed a lot of the staff and energy was aimed there. The workers at the sushi bar seemedlively and animated and chatted among themselves. The crowd picked up as we were leaving, and the workers seemed to stumble overthemselves clumsily and awkwardly as if they weren’t trained adequately. I would be willing to give them one more chance withmaybe a specialty roll, a dinner entree or a bowl of udon, but as of right now I think they are overhyped, overpriced andunderwhelming. Read more

Kabuki serves lunch and dinner. You can choose to sit on the hibachi side or the side with table and chairs and no hibachi... grill. The sushi is wonderful and usually looks just as wonderful as it tastes. I love the mussels with cheese. They might notlook as appealing as other food but I assure you that if you like mussels and you like cheese then you will really like thisdish. The owner convinced me to eat the heads of the shrimp. They really were good. Just don't look into their eyes as you eatthe shrimp heads. I highly recommend the scallops if you're wanting a hibachi meal. I haven't found anything I did not like. Thefood is wonderful, the chefs are entertaining and the wait staff are always around when you need them. Read more
