I have been trying to book Bodega Catering for my daughter?s college graduation party. This has been in coordination with my... daughter?s roommates and families. The girl?s requested Bodega bc they ?? their food. So, I reached out to their cateringmanager Lindsey via phone multiple times and also emailed her 2+ times specifically saying we want to place a cateringorder/please call. I repeatedly asked for a call back and never received one from her. I finally reached her on Monday ofthis week and she never once apologized for not acknowledging my emails and phone calls. She did however tell me that sheneeded to get back to me no later than Wednesday (today) because she wasn?t sure if they had room for extra catering ongraduation day. I obliged with the agreement that I would hear from her by today. I decided to reach out to her again thismorning because I was on the road in an area with little reception. When we (one of the Mom?s) called to inquire earlier todayabout the status, one of the Bodega employees HUNG up on my friend. So incredibly rude and unprofessional. I am severelydisappointed in your unprofessionalism and lack of kindness. I hope that this rude behavior does not continue bc eventually itWILL impact your business! You can?t treat people like that who WANT to pay you good money. At the very least, follow-throughwith a return phone call or email as promised. I realize you?re one of the few restaurants in town but at the end of the daythis is just wrong. I will not eat at Bodega ever again. This is the first time I?ve ever written a review like this. Is a good place for carry out. is small but you can eat inside the food is good :)
The wind blew us off course into the town of Oxford. Our sandwiches were excellent and other items look appealing! Would... definitely return when in town again. Local traffic picked up around 1230 on Sunday. Read more
For some reason, I had not tried this local restaurant even though I lived in the area for years. Boy, was I missing out! We... were greeted by a super friendly staff person who gave us the run down on the extensive offerings and made some wonderfulsuggestions. My companion had the Dinah with it's fresh turkey and french bread. She opted not to have the basil mayo but saidit was delicious! I tried the Papa D with a little less meat and it was wonderful! I like the cozy atmosphere and the staff is usually friendly. The food has been hit and miss for me though. Designed with a grab... and go counter, but sometimes service can be slow. I?ve been here plenty of times and overall haven?t been impressed by thefood, especially at the price. The chicken and fish have been dry and the dishes are a bit salty. Just not my palate I guess. Great home made deli salads, sandwiches and desserts. Enjoyed 15% off for my wife's birthday.
Got the Chia sandwich. Hardly heated up, way too much sauce. Everything kept falling off the sandwich. Place is hyped up too... much for what it?s worth. Employees cared more about socializing with each other than making food. Read more
