Since the cafe is only open Saturdays, I?ve only had their beans shipped to my house. The service, selection, and freshness is... fantastic - if I order in the morning, the beans are on my doorstep by that afternoon, sometimes roasted the same day. There areusually about a dozen varietals to choose from, with some rotation. If I don?t see a new one that I haven?t tried before, I gowith the light roast Ethiopian and am never disappointed. While I would love to see the cafe open other days of the week, theyhave a good thing going with the current arrangement, and I?m perfectly content buying almost all of my beans from them. Read more
While I am not a regular customer, I can say that I have been waited on in a timely fashion during the few visits in the past... five or so years. Baristas are always friendly. Last time I went in for a recommendation and the barista was very knowledgeable.I purchased a bag of their beans and had no idea they were whole until the barista offered to grind it for me. That level ofcustomer service is rarely heard of anymore. How many places would have let me leave with whole coffee beans? No complaintshere. Read more
My favorite coffee shop in Oxford. My girlfriend and I have our weekly (sometimes 2 or 3 times weekly) ritual of getting coffee... together, and this is always the #1 choice. They really care about coffee, and always make it to perfection. They roast theirown beans, and take the time and effort to deliver you a great drink. The shop is really cute, quiet, and peaceful. They sell alot of cool coffee items as well. Great place to stop and have a nice conversation and get your morning going! Excellent service and great coffee. Very receptive to special drink requests (ex. adding multiple flavor shots) Has a nice... equivalent to the Starbucks coffee traveler you can order for meetings and parties. Read more
I just transferred to Miami from OSU, so I was looking for an alternative to Starbucks. I ordered the light roast coffee, and... let me tell you it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. Friendly service and looks like a great place to studyaway from the madness on campus. I will definitely return! Read more
My initial impression with only one visit. Nice quiet very professional coffee shop. They roast there own coffee and also... offer it for sale. Cool roaster right in the middle of the shop. They do everything right. Only an ok espresso shot that waswell roasted, but I personally prefer a brighter shot, maybe just the bean they were pulling that day, maybe just me. Latteart wasn't so good with the barista I encountered, but need to visit a few times more to get more data points. Read more
This place is Fantastic! The coffee is some of the best I have ever had. It makes a huge difference that they roast the beans in... the store. The place is quiet and has fast wifi so it is a perfect place to go to get work done. The staff, especially Eric,is very friendly and is knowledgeable about all the coffee they serve.
