Had good service from a new employee who was very attentive but other than her, our experience wasn?t good. The food was either... under or over cooked. The marinara sauce was burnt and the meatballs seemed to have freezer burn and were quite honestly gross!After a bad meal, a customer brought their dog in and had it on the counter without any intervention from the restaurant staffbut rather embrace. Probably not good for the old health code on that one. This place is completely underwhelming. We won?t becoming back. Read more
Not a good experience at all. Service was poor, order was wrong, some dishes were okay, crab cake looked like a dark brown... hockey puck, food came to the table at different times. Will not be back. Read more
Absolutely terrible. Called and placed an order- was given an order number (standard, no concerns). When we went to go pick up... the order, they said that the order was already picked up. Clearly not, as we had just arrived. They did not apologize or offerany alternative. They stated it would take "50 minutes" to remake the pizza. Worst service. Extremely disappointed. Ordered a caprese salad which was supposed to have arugula, but instead it had what looked like wilted iceberg lettuce in it.
Always a great experience dining in or taking out from here. Friendly service, good food, and fair prices. Their pizza is always... excellent and the other food items are great most of the time as well, though it can be inconsistent at times. For example, thewedding soup I had during my most recent visit tasted like it had been reheated or sat in a warmer all day. However, in myexperience, these occurrences are rare and very minor, and I can say that I?ve never had a meal from here that I would consider?bad?. We had heard a lot of favorable reports about this place and received a gift certificate so decided to try it. We can't say... anything really negative, but not excited by it either. The food was ok, not too pricey. It took a little long to arrive. Ourwaitress was sweet, but sort of frazzled. Just little things were off, she took another couple's order before ours though wewere seated earlier. She forgot immediately to bring my husband a fork right after we asked. He ended up using mine after Ifinished my dessert. She took a long time to bring our check. Nothing was a really big deal. The food was ok, the service wasok, the pricing was ok. Hence, 3 stars. This is small pizzeria up in Oxnard, PA. I had lunch here with my brother recently when we gave this place a try. Upon walking... in it's kinda like walking back in time. Wood paneling. Paper placemats with advertisements on them, etc. It was about 12:30pmon a Tuesday afternoon and we were the only customers that I could see. I wasn't sure what to make of the place. There was anopen air kitchen off to the right side that was empty. We seated ourselves when no one showed up to seat us. Eventually ourserver did show up with some menus and we ordered drinks. We decided to get a large pizza with Pepperoni and Italian Sausage.The pizza looked pretty good when it arrived. The dough was fresh and the pepperoni was good to, however the Italian Sausage wasbleh. It wasn't spoiled or anything, it just wasn't (in my opinion anyway) a good Italian Sausage. We didn't see our serveragain until she brought us the check. Never offered refills, etc. Both of us came to the same conclusion and all I have to saywas that the whole experience was decidedly mundane. Absentee server. Outstanding service and the food is unbelievable we have never had a bad experience here.
