Got the fish plate, and the fish was ok but the sides was not, the greens was dry with no seasoning, but thought ill give them a... second chance and I ordered the Trukey Burger and fries get it simple this time all though the food was better this time thewait was crazy I was told it would be ready in 20mins got there 30mins later and my food wasn't ready and he had just startedwhile I was sitting there so had to wait another 30 to 40 minutes. I first found out about this place from GrubHub. Cajun food isn't something you find easily around Port Hueneme or Oxnard. I was... curious. I only wish I knew earlier that they served breakfast. Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Their collard greens were a surprise because I have never had them before but... they were so yummy. The candied yams are delicious and the catfish was delightful. I also had some gumbo for the first time, itwas salty for my tasty but still really good. I would definitely recommend this place fir some quality Cajun food. Read more
I've never had red beans and rice before but wow they are amazing here, absolutely amazing. Sadly I don't have much higher... praise for their seafood gumbo other than good portion size. It had good flavor but was way too salty for my tastes and couldn'tfinish. I definitely plan to come back and try more things! Read more
