The food and service are unmatched. DO NOT keep driving by this place and think, "that looks like a dive". The inside is the... complete opposite of the exterior and has a superb ambiance to it. Read more

This place was absolutely boiling. The servers were clearly overheated and stressed out from the combination between the high... temps and lack of staff. That being said, they absolutely killed it despite the adversities in their way. Shaun in particularwas incredible and met every one of my needs. He helped me decide what food I should order and kept his spirits and humor highdespite the stressful energy that eclipsed the entire establishment. I wish the servers here were given proper AC because it?struly unsafe for the environment they?re working in in 90 degree heat. Read more

Visiting from out of town I discover Dominick's and I have to be honest it's hard to find a good tasting italian restaurant. I... ordered a Lasagna which could've had a little more sauce. My GF ordered a shrimp scampi which to her opinion lacked flavor, weended up trading dishes and OMG thank God we did. Shrimp scampi were amazing. I just couldn't admit it right there and then butboy oh boy it was good. She seemed ok with the lasagna. 4.5 due to the dryness of the Lasagna .. Read more

This is a classic Italian spot in Oxnard. My brother in laws family has been coming for over 60 years, and this is my first... time in many years. We started with some fresh bread out of the oven, which just melted in our mouths. Minestrone soup,Antipasto salad, fried zucchini and mozzarella sticks rounded out the appetizers. The main courses included eggplant parmesan(with a side of spaghetti), mushroom ravioli, and pepperoni and cheese pizzas. The pizza is one of the better in all ofOxnard/ Ventura. Topped off with a "slice " of mud pie (note the perspective in size). Great service and atmosphere. I won'twait long for our next visit. Read more
