I do have to say that I expected better. Food did come out quickly, but not without sacrificing quality. I got the 5pc chicken... tenders, and 2 of them were undercooked, and 2 overcooked. Today we tried the new Hushpuppy Butterfly Shrimp & the Banana Cream Cake. We ordered on the app & it worked fine. The Hushpuppy... Butterfly Shrimp were really good, hot, fresh & nicely battered. Definitely worth ordering. The Banana Cream Cake was moist,perfect dessert size & had good banana flavor. Drive-thu always has a line. Three tables available outside so you could bringyour dog. I had rated this place a 1 in the past because the customer service was way out of hand. But I've gotta admit they've gotten... pretty good these last few times I've gone. Speed has gotten better and I'm actually pretty surprised the customer service isgetting close to being top notch. Thanks your service guys, keep up the great work Leo Read more
Great spicy chicken sandwich on the menu, but can?t give a positive review when you put for product you never receive. Had a... simple order of two chicken sandwich combos and 2 single sandwiches. Was asked at the counter to confirm two combos, and twoadditional singles. Get to our destination, we were down a sandwich. Checked receipt, pod for 4 and received 3. At the end ofthe day it?s $5. Ideal world it?s a fair exchange for business and customer. Instead, wakes in, paid up front, and wakes outchumped on product. I get it this happens, and it?s not intentional. Anytime it happens though, I?m never going to leave in apositive light a business that prints a receipt with a promise of deliver then falls short after payment. 2 stars because badon me for not checking, that being said $5 also didn?t get me a Popeyes name tag while I confirm the contents of my bag. Very disappointing. I love Popeyes but the drive thru line was extremely , and to make matters worst every costumer that's in... line takes forever to order , like they didn't have enough time to decide what to order, but wait it gets worst.... As 35minutes past and now am ready to order; as am done ordering they inform me that there all out of chicken so I have to waitAGAIN. P.S. Am not even gonna to try to even attemp delivery from Popeyes. Read more
I normally love some Popeyes, and I've been craving the vaunted chicken sandwich. It was ok, but definitely not worth the... hype. This was my first visit to the Oxnard location and was a pain in the backside to get in and out of the parking lot. Theservice was good. Overall, this was an underwhelming lunch. Read more
Food is always good at Popeyes, can't complain since there are no Church's in Oxnard :D Well... the only complaint would be the... wait time, there is always a wait at the drive thru even though you place the order via app. It is so bad that they had to putcones to reroute the drive thru line. Forget about going there if there are any promo, the line spills out to the street. Nexttime I should probably opt for pickup from store than go through the drive thru. Update... There is also a wait picking upmobile order in store even though there is specifically a line for mobile pickup - doesn't matter as there's only 1 memberattending behind cashier. Then there's 1001 question to pickup your mobile order, he asked for verification code, asked to seename on the order. The app doesn't show these anywhere. Instead I showed the confirmation email received - doesn't show my nameeither. I understand the extra step is to avoid theft, but what are the chances of someone guessing my name and order correctlyunless it's actually me? Common sense lacking big time these days Read more
