This is one of Oxnard's hidden spots downtown for good fish tacos. I haven't tried anything but the fish tacos because they are... sooooooo good. They make everything fresh in house and they have serve yourself salsa and chip bar. You should also try theirhorchata. It's very sweet and has a good flavor. The $4 fish tacos are delicious! The chips are free but obviously they are very unhealthy.
At first glance the prices are a wee bit expensive ($4 a taco for fish or shrimp), but you get unlimited tortilla chips and... salsa which are both made FRESH. Best seafood tacos in SoCal, I dare say. Personally I like the shrimp tacos more than the fishtacos, but both are good and let's face it, you're not just getting one so it's not like you gotta choose. Read more
I like the inside, very colorful with art everywhere! Small menu but I'm sure it's because everything is delicious. Had a Chile... relleno burrito and I enjoyed every last bite. I put some of the red wet burrito sauce on it because why not! My girlfriend saidher wet burrito was also very delicious and would definitely try the the green one next time. They have a small salsa bar withall you can eat chips so that is a plus. Got the 2 meals and 3 small horchatas for $20 and some change. Overall very nice placeto eat only thing that sucks is there was no parking, and it wasn't packed they just obviously don't have restaurant parkingsince its in a ghetto neighborhood. Read more
Very good Mexican food. Burritos are huge and tasty. Fish tacos are very good. In fact, the restaurant is known for its fish... tacos. Food is a bit Americanized, so look elsewhere if you want truly authentic Mexican food. The restaurant is in an olderpart of Oxnard, so don't expect a fresh look when entering. Very good fish tacos one of the best. Delicious shrimp diabla and seafood soup.
First time customer here. The service was fantastic. The young man at the counter was more than welcoming and patient with our... order. (We were all over the place trying to decide what to eat) food was fast and absolutely delicious. The shrimp ceviche isphenomenal. I live in Sun Valley and the trip was definitely worth it. Read more
