Great food, awesome staff, incredible atmosphere, and great live music on the weekends. This very quickly became one of our... favorite spots in the city and we’ve yet to be disappointed by any aspect of the dining experience here. Most recently, wecelebrated my partner’s birthday here with 8 of our friends. Making reservations was really easy, and they got us seatedoutside (as requested) close enough to see the band. Everyone had a blast and I didn’t hear a single complaint about the foodor drinks—just contented “Yums.” Service was extremely attentive, especially considering it was a Saturday night with livemusic. Always love the ambiance at The Raven! Great energy from service and always yummy food! The only bad thing is getting a seat in... the bar where the sun doesn't blast in your face as the sun goes down. Would be nice for some shades to help during those fewminutes, but we so love the view of the marina!!! Read more
The Raven Tavern has quite a few vegetarian menu offerings. I got the veggie pie. The garlic in the mashed potatoes shone... through the other flavors. The curry gravy was excellent. Just the right amount of spice. Read more
This place was amazing! I live in Los Angeles but my mom and brother live in Port Hueneme. For years, we've always had a hard... time finding a place to go eat where we would all find something we like. I can't believe they never suggested this placebefore. Recently we were debating over places and my brother said well. How about The Raven? Doubtful, I looked it up. Therewere seven of us, so I knew it was going to be difficult to satisfy all of us. And I saw that the menu had something thateverybody would like, even me, the vegetarian. But it wasn't just that there was something for everyone, it was that everyonereally loved their food! We were all so happy. I would love to tell you all that the ambience inside is wonderful too, but Ican't. Only because we ate outside right above the water, and that ambience was amazing! This place has some of the best service I have had. Every employee greeted us with a smile and was pleasant. The restaurant was... clean and organized. We were disappointed with the food. They serve a proper fish for the fish and chips. It was tasty but thebreading was not crispy. The steak sandwich was recommended by the waitress was ok but it was bland and overcooked. The steakwas just ok as it was overcooked and very low on flavor. I do recommend the wings and Jolly Jamison which were very good. Ialso recommend the buttercup for a desert which was excellent. I would give 5+ stars for service and a 3 for the overall food.My take is it is a fun place for bar service and food with a great atmosphere and view of the harbor. Read more
This place is always super solid with great service. The raven pies are a great go-to; our favorite is the Steak & Mushroom... Pie. Burgers are great too! They also have a great selection of beer; my wife’s and my favorite is the Made West IPA. Location is obviously wonderful as well with a nice view of the Seabridge marina. There’s also a fountain nearby that ourtoddler enjoys looking at while we are waiting for our food. Read more
Came here for Happy Hour. It was awesome. $5 glass of wine and $5 fries. Can't beat it. The only thing was that the love music... is super loud, so we moved outside. Our waitresses were awesome! I'd definitely really. Read more
Dinner done perfect. It's cool here. But they brought us heaters to keep us warm. Perfect service. Love them!
