We dined her with friends who had been here before; DELISH! We sat on the patio with reservations at 6pm. There were patio... heaters, although the weather was warm and they didn't need to turn them on. It was a little breezy though, but it was nicesitting by the water. I had the sand dabs, which was a special that night. It was setved with a mouthwatering lemony glaze,smashed potatoes and creamed spinach; pure yumminess! My husband had the short ribs over cheesy risotto. (Again, puredeliciousness!) Our friends both had the beef lasagne, which was tasty, but not to the extent of my sand dabs and my husband'sshort ribs. I would definitely recommend Waterside! Read more
We both enjoyed our Lasagna and Salmon. Salmon was accompanied by a cauliflower with some delicious flavoring. Decent... selections of wines available. Did not try their cocktails but looked great. Beautiful location in the harbor. Our serverSavannah did a great job. All in all nice time. Read more
My husband and I eat at this restaurant frequently. He loves the Cuban sandwich for lunch! They have a friendly environment with... live entertainment on the patio. We take friends and family here. The food is priced well, and the staff are all wonderful. Read more
Waited for over half an hour to receive our food. At no point did our waitress check in with us. I had to go ask about our order... and were told that there was some sort of mix up and our order was not even put in the system. Ordered the braised beef short ribs. At 31 dollars. Half the meat was fat, that was not cooked down long enough. The flavor was... good but it was loaded with fat and grease in the sauce. This mite be okay if it had a solid base. However, instead of mashedpotato's or something to balance that grease/fat. They use orzo and a rich white sauce. I assume heavy whipping cream. Morefat. So, after 5 bites you cant handle the dish anymore. Yes, first two bites are delicious. But you cant keep eating it. Now,take this dish home and make it into a stew Recipe: $31 braised beef dish from water side 2 full carrots 1/2 onion 1 cup beefbroth 3 cups water (to dilute grease and fat) 1 table spoon thyme 1 table spoon garlic pepper Cook for 2 hours to break downfat on meat. Add carrots and onions. Cook another 1 hour. Serve over lightly seasoned/buttered mashed potato's. And now youwill have a dish worth 31 dollars :) Read more
I never leave reviews but I would like to save anyone else from having the same bad experience we had. We went on a Sunday... morning for brunch. No one was at the front to seat us, we finally flagged down a server and they told us to take a table. Wewaited a good 10 minutes for someone to come, we waited another 5 minutes for water. My husband had to ask for ice 4 timesbefore she brought it. Right as we got our food, a guy on a guitar started playing, which initially we were excited about. Itwas worse than a bad karaoke bar...he could not sing and it was turned so loud, we could not talk. My son and I had very greasyfood, my husband's was a little better. Mimosas were made with syrup, told to us my the waitress. No juice at all. As we wereleaving the owner was at the front and my husband said politely that the guy couldn't sing and it wasn't enjoyable and he askedmy husband if he could sing??
