It was very good, I am surprised the overall rating is just 4.0 (at the time of this writing at least). I got the spicy mango... margarita which was exceptional. The guacamole was very good as well. My meal was the duck carnitas enchiladas and I very muchenjoyed it. Both of my friends really enjoyed their meals as well. We sat outside in a shaded area facing the harbor and thatdefinitely added to the overall feel. All in all a great experience albeit a tad on the expensive side. Read more
Full marks for the location and ambience of the restaurant. Its right next to the National harbor, and in the middle of a... happening busy place. We visited there on a super busy labor day long weekend. Staff was super busy but still professional andcourteous. They initially told us a wait for 90 minutes but we got the table in 40 minutes. The restaurant is huge from insideand atmosphere was great. We took the pitcher of traditional margarita which worked out for the group. The food is fancy butbland in taste. Nice location with a look out from the pier. Parking in the area is not free for example ...1 hr and under is $5 the 1 to 3 hrs... is $15 then over 3hr is $20 then $25. There is a nice setup for outdoor seating. The food was good but not for the price. Youare paying for an experience over the food. The staff was great and the wait for the good was not long. If you LOVE a type ofauthentic Mexican food, this is the place for you. Read more
In a word: Tasty. The food here is very tasty and they put a different twist on some of the traditional dishes, such as the... Cesar salad. They added avocados and radishes and you can choose from grilled shrimp, chicken or steak for an additional cost ofcourse. If you can’t choose from the 3 choices of guacamole, then there’s an option to choose all 3 for around $28, which Ithought was quite expensive. The salsa was pretty good, not spicy at all. The chips were average and the margaritas were good aswell. The menu items are ala carte, and rather pricey. The service was good and the decor nice and inviting. Would I return? No.Not likely. Delicious is an understatement for this restaurant. There was a plethora of vegetarian selections and it's always fun to have... the guacamole made fresh at the table side. You can also watch the ladies make fresh tortillas which are brought to the table.It's a beautiful restaurant with a very lovely aesthetic. highly recommend this place in national Harbor. Read more
