The owner, Nedy, has a chip on her shoulder for some reason. My wife and I came in after walking around on a chilly day and were... looking forward to getting hot chocolate and warming up. There was almost no one there that day - just one woman sitting at atable in the back - and as went to sit, Nedy told us that we weren't allowed to sit because we hadn't ordered enough food. Isaid we understood and would sit outside but, as a point of feedback, thought the policy was a bit restrictive. Her response was"Have a nice day, sir" while rolling her eyes. That bothered me and I politely asked the name of the establishment she workedfor so I could have this conversation with a manager and she said "I am the boss. You want the name? You can't read? It'swritten all over the sign." (It wasn't written there - I had to go online to see that she owns a company called Temp's Unlimitedthat has a contract with Magnolia Cafe.) Although she was being impolite, I made sure to maintain my politeness throughout, knowing that she might have just been having a tough day. However, we won't be returning to this cafe again. Counter staff are rude and food seems like something frozen and popped in a microwave. Better off bring something to snack on... while there and then eating elsewhere offsite. Read more

This staff here has no sense of courtesy and understanding We had sat here for lunch, as there is minimal seating in the... Arboretum. As you can see below, the Cafe was 100% empty. We were told we had to leave because we brought some outside food (dueto a strict diet that the Cafe could not cater to). While I understand if it was busy then the seating could be reserved forguests, the fact that the attendant took the time to kick us out when the entire place was empty is shameful. Read more

The food was fine. Nothing extraordinary but very acceptable. It hit the spot. The price is on the high side but to be expected... in an out of the way place like this. It?s the only place to buy food and eat around here so I don?t understand what otherpeople expect when they complain about the price and service. We had the burger with the extra toppings (egg, bacon, cheese),mixed salad and lobster bisque. All pretty good. The hibiscus iced tea was good. The staff was friendly and service was good. They let us try a piece of their homemade raspberry strawberry tart. Nice ladies. Thanks. Read more

Cute little cafe. Seating outside, social distancing in place.

Empanadas were cold inside, didn?t taste fresh, probably just microwaved. Attached picture of $12 chicken quesadilla. Don?t... waste your money. Read more

The waiting time was like 30 minutes and there were only 6 tables, the food was ok but they don?t have variety in the menus and... everything is served in small portions for the price which was like from a fine restaurant (very expensive) but it is not, theyserved us in disposable plates and they charged us for that, who charge for disposables? Wow. I don't think I'll go back to eatthere. Read more

Staff is very nice. Food good but just a little pricey. Did like the pansy with my burger. See photo
