Having grown up near Umbertos in New Hyde Park (moved to PA 20+ years ago), while on vacation in Oyster Bay, my wife and I had... to go to Umbertos of Oyster Bay. The food was so good! I loved the Chicken Bacon Ranch slice and Broccoli and Spinach Pinwheel,and we absolutely loved the Eggplant Parm Hero! Perfect to carry out and eat at Oyster Bay Brewing just down the street. Very happy Umberto?s has arrived in Oyster Bay. Love that they offer options for thin crust on pies, and particularly a choice... to have a pie well done. We can?t choose between the Margarita and grandma pies, so have to order both! Their sausage rolls andpinwheels are great also. This is our only choice for local area pizza! Read more
In most pizza shops, the classic Neapolitan slices normally do not have real crispy bottom crust. At Umberto?s, the crust is... always crispy?as it should be. Tonight, I tried some kitchen items to mix it up a bit. The Broccoli Rabe, Sausage and CherryPepper hero was excellent. Full of stemless Broccoli Rabe and a mix of hot and sweet sausage on a toasted hero roll was great.We also had an order of grilled chicken with a side salad. Moist chicken and really fresh salad greens. Again, excellent.Umberto?s is THE place in Oyster Bay for pizza shop classics. Read more
First time here. Simple large pie well done and dz knots. Best pie I had in a long time in this area. Knots were soft with just... enough of oil/garlic. Will need to try some dishes and salads next time to keep the 5 ????. Read more
