First time i walked into firehouse they said i got the job? second time i walked in, the owner was rude and within a minute told... me he was done and to get a job somewhere else. I also recently got into a bad car accident and his only concern was if i had acar and a ride to work. yes, i would have 2 rides to work, but he didn?t try to work anything out with me after i ?supposedly?had the job. really shows how much THIS firehouse cares about their employees. I feel sorry for the other employees at this establishment i witnessed the owner yell at a employee about cutting his pay for... hours he worked after finishing his last 2 weeks. The police were called and we left shortly after hearing the owner berate theemployee infront of a officer about him being a "terrible employee" and "harassing other employees and customers" which giventhis owners past reputation i dont believe was true in the slightest. Ive been going here for a while now and never have iwitnessed a more petty and sad example of a owner at any fast food chain and he should be reprimanded for how he treats bothcustomers and employees. I hope the owner reads this and understands why i wrote this because i will never eat at anyestablishment that treats their employees and customers like absolute trash. I wish the best of luck to anyone who decidesworks here cause the owner clearly has no respect for anyone wether they be employee or customer. Read more

Please, NEVER arbitrarily put mayo on a sandwich unless the customer specifically asks for it. Just don't do it. Ask if mayo is... wanted don't just assume it should be on there. I spent $30 for a sandwich I took one bite of threw it up because of the mayo. Will continue to stick with subway. Read more

I run a business that is heavily customer service related. Reading the reviews had me hesitant to get lunch from here. Most of... the bad ones had been over 3 months so I decided to give it a shot as I was driving thru town. Tony took my drive thru order andassisted me at the window. DO NOT GO HERE! This was my first visit to this location and I was blindsided. The owner is the problem and I will be following... all the way through with corporate until changes are made as well as contacting the BBB. It is never ok to treat customers insuch a hostile way and take money from them by not including what they rightfully paid for or fix the items that are wrong. Payattention to expired items being served to you. Smell and look at everything for your SAFETY! It concerns me that all thereviews listed mention the same concern repeatedly for months but no effective action has taken place. To follow up? corporatedid contact me back without any resolution. I now question the franchises morales to allow such an ownership through theirbrand. Firehouse subs is also not affiliated/represented by the BBB but a complaint can still be filed. I did notify the Alabamastate health department of my concerns. I also reached out to the mayors office to notify them of the concerns within theestablishment and they responded they were fully aware of the owner and ?his ways? and could possibly ?speak with him.? Theowners wife did eventually follow up with me and mentioned ?the owner is past his prime in tact and professionalism.? Severalentities have been made aware of the severity of the situation and NO action has taken place. Read more

This location opened about a year ago. We quickly discovered the owner is mean & nasty to both his customers & employees, so we... haven't been back in nearly a year. This is NOT OK! I refuse to spend money at a place where someone belittles their employees &ridicules customers when their order is wrong. Corporate doesn't respond to customer complaints either, so that's verydisappointing. I rarely give poor reviews, but this one is well-deserved. P.S. Anna from Guest Services, don't even bother tocomment on my review. Apparently, you don't take any complaints seriously because several poor reviews have been left,specifically about the owner of this franchise, and nothing has changed. You're probably a bot. Me and my mom ordered online, got there early and who I'm assuming was the owner pointed out I didn't pay for extra pickles and... there was a different section online to add pickles. Online under the pickles it gave me the option to add them. My mom offeredto give them the $.25 for the pickles but he just looked over and told the guy "add 3 more pickles" as we got home I discoveredthey had not complied with any of the directions we put. They had no cheese tho I replaced the Swiss with jack, there was no BBQsauce on the side like I asked, it looked like they put the slaw on it then took it off badl I also asked for light mustard andlight mayo and the bread was soaked with both. . My mom had added extra veggies to her sandwich and it had very light amounts.I'm very upset with the service we got today but the one thing I can say is the Mac and cheese was very good. I hope whoever theowner is can come to his senses and start providing better food and service to his guests. I will be trying it again but nexttime il stay and check my sandwich to make sure it's correct. Read more
