Everything was delicious and the people were very welcoming . The pulled pork was moist and flavorful. The pork ribs were very... meaty and tender, they fell off the bone. Sides were all good from the Cole slaw, baked beans with pork, to the mac n cheese .I'm not usually a big rice eater, but I loved their dirty rice. On my way from Chicago to Florida ??. Stopped and have to say it may have been the best BBQ I have ever had.
I stopped in today on my way from Troy to Dothan. I wasn?t expecting much because all of the barbecue I?ve tried here has been... mediocre at best. That all changed after the first bite. I ordered the large pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese, and bakedbeans. Pork- the bun was a normal bun, the sauce was subtle and used sparingly and allowed the meats smoky flavor to shinethrough. The meat itself was moist without being a greasy mess which I also appreciated. Mac and cheese- when I first got it itlooked like velveeta shells and cheese . After one bite it was clear it was homemade AND excellent Baked beans- the beans werea homemade blend of several beans and ingredients. Again very tasty. Worst experience since moving to Ozark 3 months ago. Tried to call my order in ahead, answered by extremely rude man who said... just go to the restaurant because he's out shopping. Got there with the intention of complaining but the cashier was actuallyvery sweet. Ordered chicken and pulled pork plate. Food was cold. The pork was drowned in juices and side of macaroni was boxedvelveeta shells and cheese. Will be giving this to my dogs. Waste of $25. Read more
This is hands down the best barbeque I have had. Friendly people and the pulled pork was amazing. We had coleslaw and red beans... and rice. If you have a chance to try do so we drove out of our way to try this and so glad we did. Read more
