I love this restaurant. Food is good and costumers service is the best.
Their chowmien is good. The staffs are good too. Only thing is they need to be careful when people come in to pick up their... orders. I ordered 2 food, 1 mix chowmien and 1 chicken fried rice. When I got home there 2 chicken fried rice in the bag mindyou i live 30 mins away each way to and from the restaurant. I drove all the way there especially for their chowmien and when Igot home I was disappointed. The location on 106st Street on liberty is the best. Read more
I always order food from New Triving and I have been for years but these last few times have been horrible. Not sure if they... changed cooks? but food was definitely stale? chowmein was white like it was lacking sauce?sweet and sour chicken was tough andkind of tasteless?vegetable rice was dry? I?m definitely disappointed. Beyond disappointed? I?ll save my money and order fromJade next time. EDIT: Called and confirmed with the girl at the front they do have a new chef?. Here we go! Another off the beaten path hidden Gem of a restaurant! Here you get it all: Great service by beautiful servers!... Great food done to perfection! Ice cold beer! Low Low pricing and friendly down to earth real people atmosphere! Personally Ihate chick peas but when they came around I had to try them since the Lo Mein, Chicken, Beef, Shrimp and Fried Fish dishes wereso well prepared and cooked to a standard of excellence. And guess what? The Chick Peas were OUTSTANDING! But don't believeme... go and try for yourselves! I'm going back next week to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Read more

My family and I are vegan. Last year a family member told us about their jerk tofu, and we?ve been ordering ever since. A few... times they would put eggs in the vegetable fried rice, which doesn?t make sense. But they would send a new one and ask for theold one back. The last time I ordered, I asked for a jerk tofu with plain fried rice with NOTHING in it. I literally repeatedmyself about 5 times. When I got my delivery the plain fried rice had eggs in it. So my boyfriend called and spoke to the ladyon the phone/manager/ ?owner? according to her. We explained to her that we?re vegan, obviously don?t eat eggs, and specificallyordered a plain with nothing in it. You would think replacing the rice that we can?t eat would be the obvious solution. No. Shesaid the plain rice is served with eggs in it, and it?s our ?mistake? for ordering it. If I wanted an egg fried rice, I wouldhave ordered an egg fried rice. They said there was absolutely nothing they could do. They wanted us to pay for another plainfried rice, when I should have gotten a PLAIN fried rice in the first place. She then rudely hung up the phone, so my boyfriendwent into the store. The same rude lady greeted him. She kept blaming him and said there was nothing they could do. Poorcustomer service.
