2 weeks ago we went to the Firehouse Subs in Pensacola so today we stopped by at the Pace to compare and it was very consistent... which means good food! I had the New York with Swiss cheese and a small Potato soup my wife had the Turkey and Bacon with chips???? It was great but the restroom was lacking or it gets a 5. Cleanliness is always important but especially now! Stop in andenjoy!???? $25.00 round it off and contribute to the Fire Department!!????????????? Read more
The food was good, as it usually is at Firehouse. There were at least four staff members present and they were all too busy... talking to one another to pay proper attention to the customers. They were very slow at making our sandwiches oh, and we werethe only ones there. That was a small price to pay for just delicious sandwiches that we had for dinner last night. Read more
Overall the place was good. Service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I think this place is a bit over priced. ... $14.00 for a sub sandwich, soda and small bag of chips is a bit much. I give a 4 star review only because the meat on my NewYork steamer was not drained enough. It made the bread soggy and even caused a small puddle to form in the red basket. Otherthan that... I keep giving them a try (all firehouse locations) and I?m always disappointed. I try a different sub each time. Tonight I tried... the steak and cheese. I will say I took off the Mayo and mustard because I find that to be disgusting on a steak and cheese sub.But I have never had such a dry steak and cheese sub before. Anywhere else makes them cheesy and greasy which makes it good. Iwill never have firehouse again. Read more
