We heard great things about this restaurant. We called and left a voice message to have a reservation at 5:30 p.m. on that same... day for four of us and then we went off into the ocean to fish all day, which we had no service. We showed up before ourreservation hungry and cold and we're told since we didn't call back to confirm they didn't reserve us a table and seating wasnot until 9:00 p.m., very disappointed. Read more

It may look unassuming, but you're doing yourself a HUGE disservice if you visit the area and forget to eat here. The place is... small, on the second story of a little house - a river house, if I may be so bold (...). They had enough room to serve up to 11different parties at once. It's cozy with a great view of the river. You almost feel like you're in a train car. The tightquarters does mean it gets a little loud though, and it's a bit warm and muggy. I had the Entrecote which was probably the beststeak I've ever had, and my partner had the crab and shrimp mac and cheese since they were out of the salmon. The fresh burratawith grilled bread was a great appetizer. We didn't take pictures of those items because we ate it too fast. The dessert, however, is pictured. Also delicious. We were definitely upsold on the wine. $15 for a glass of wine - the same wine which runsfor $30/bottle at the wine shop down the road. Wish we had known that, but we were spoiling ourselves that night anyway. Weplan on coming back every time we're in the area. Call for a reservation just in case. Read more

A charming restaurant on the Nestucca River. I liked walking upstairs to the dining room and looking at the artwork. The... fresh burrata stole the show for me. The spread on the toast was made with pine nuts and castelvetrono olives and the germolataon top of the burrata was fresh and zesty and unexpected. Our entrees and desert were also good. The entire dining experiencewas enjoyable and the service was good! Read more

Please improve the communication from the kitchen to the table. We had to wait over an hour for our dinners. Better... communication really helps when we’re watching other tables get their food. Especially because the food was so good, it wasworth the wait, to me. The food was delicious. I had clam chowder & scallops. Our party shared bites and the calamari, salmon, and fish & chips were good too. We had a large group and the dinners took over an hour to arrive, which was hard because we hadlittle ones. Read more

A spectacular meal and a reason unto itself to come to the coast. As good as any fish and chips, and bread pudding as I’ve... ever eaten, including many eaten in the UK over nearly two decades. Bravo! Read more

One of the best gems in the Pacific Northwest. Recently we have gone back to dining out after a long break due to COVID. This... meal was ten times better than the other fine dining we have had in Portland and a third the cost. I don't have pictures of ourstarted because we were so hungry after a long day and they we absolutely fantastic. We had the Safron Walla Walla Soup and theFresh Burrata and Grilled Bread. The soup was so good that my wife ordered another cup. We ordered the Rockfish Fish and Chips, the Crab Mac and Cheese with Shrimp, and the Ravioli. The Rockfish crust was crisp and good. The handcut fries were amazing. Mydaughter said the the mac and cheese was one of her favorite meals of all time. The crab was sweet and the shrimp were huge. Thepasta was tender with some chew. Same with the Ravioli. We were all so impressed with all the food that I had to try the clamchowder which was just as good as everything else. After dinner we were so full from trying everything else that we didn’t eatdesert. The only thing I could say was that it would have been nice to see something with chocolate on the desert menu. We wereso thoroughly impressed that if we are ever in Pacific City, Lincoln City or Tillamook area we are going here again! Read more
