Menu for Vito's in Pacific Grove, CA

This was not a good restaurant to go to on a Tuesday night. Not good service or food. We had to ask for everything from our... drink's to bread. You think he would ask if we like more to drink. We had pasta with oil and garlic $18.00 my nephew at 9years old pasta and butter $18.00 and our guest fedicini alfredo but no sauce. One glass wine and 2 sodas one microwavedcannoli and a $72.00 bill. But we got lots of oil. He was only nice when he found out we were locals, oops not going back ever. Read more

Horrible service from the time we walked in the door. "Vito" was abrupt & downright rude! Took forever to get service & we were... 2nd in the door! When the food came I was just plain embarrassed for my out of town friends for bringing them to this place.Water glasses were filled once & we asked for bread to fill the void from the lack of food. The cannelloni looked like 2 tinycrepes flattened in the middle of the plate with nothing--no vegetables--it was SAD! NEVER going again & it's in myneighborhood! Read more

In normally pretentious town for food this place is a pure gem..Wonder place, great food, great people. the owner (a great... singer) and his son run the tables with true caring for the people and the food. One of those homey feeling places where you'dlike to offer one of your chairs and a wine glass to the waiter. Read more

We arrived after 5pm and the restaurant was still closed. We hung out for awhile outside and they finally opened the door. We... went in and the tables were not set, the lights were not on, and they"were not ready for business". He showed us to our table,got our water and slowly more people came in. He gave us our menus, we decided what we wanted and ordered. The soup came to ourtable cold, the most expensive thing on the menu....(The first one on the top of the page was also cold. Not even lukewarm.) Wefinally finished. We waited for further service....We waited for further service. They came and cleared our table. Thecredit card was on the end of the table and we waited and waited. Finally the waiter came back or was he the chef. We decidedwe would have dessert. We had our desert and waited, waited, and waited. He took our check and we waited and waited. Finallywe were able to leave the restaurant. Never again. Read more
