The fish and chips were really good! They earned the 5 stars. Big portion and the fish were very crunchy, which I loved. The... fries were good! The coleslaw was good too (coming from a person who isn’t a big fan of coleslaw) Also tried the clam chowderand it was tasty too. The cup size is a good portion for kids and there was still some left over for me to finish. Adding crabwas a bonus! The waiter and servers were welcoming and turned on the heater for us as we sat on the patio which was nice. Overall glad we tried this place! Read more
Amazing bread pudding! I loved it. It has a nice creamy sauce and was soft and sweet. The chowder was delicious, especially... with the garlic bread cap. It's plenty and can be shared with two people. Additionally, we got the oyster po' boy and it wasnicely dressed and was a nice change from the raw oysters we usually eat. Read more
Cute place with decent food. The calamari was tasty but the clam chowder was pretty average. Maybe "Voted best" in town but... certainly not at the top of my clam chowder ranking. I had the Scallop Po Boy. The scallops themselves were tasty but the rollfor it was very bland and kinda took away from the sandwich as a whole. Wouldn't recommend. The Rockfish Reuben on the otherhand was very tasty, though I only had a bite or two of my girlfriends sandwich. She definitely made the better choice. Overalla nice place with quick service and a nice quiet atmosphere but I think I'll try some new places before coming back. Read more
Hot, garlic crusted, thick, and soft bread bowl soups are what I come here for. They do not skimp on quality ingredients and you... can expect some very tasty and fresh seafood in every dish. The price is a bit high compared to some other stores in the areabut if you're here on vacation it's a good option for quality food. Read more
Came in due to the great reviews left by people, and left completely happy and blown away by the whole experience. Greeted at... the door by a young host, we had a pleasant conversation while waiting for our table to be ready. Our waiter was very nice andlet us know what the catch of the day was, along with the special. My wife ordered the clam chowder in the bread bowl. Theychopped off the top and turned it into a cheesy garlic bread! The chowder was AMAZING! It really was the best we've ever had.PRO TIP: Get it with the crab meat. Absolutely worth the extra cost. I ordered the crab salad sandwich and chowder combo. Thesandwich was amazing, with cheddar, tomato, and avocado. Tasty sammich! After visiting the aquarium for almost 4hrs, I was so starving. Clam chowder is always a good choice when u are having a... vacation in California seasides city. Vivolo is on the top list recommended on the map, so I had a try. We ordered clam chowderin bread bowl, it tasted so creamy and fresh. The garlic bread with cheese was crispy and chunky. Fisherman’s platter (deepfried combo) was also good. It’s weird to have only one fried Scallop made it hard to share with my friend. However, I stillenjoy all kinds of deep fried food. Worth to try! Lovely place! We had pretty good chowder in a bowl as well as an Oyster Po’ Boy. Really enjoyable stuff and the bread pudding... was absolutely fantastic too - a must try! It was $25/each pre tip for 2. We arrived late so they cancelled our reservation butstill had lots of space on a Monday around noon. Read more
