Drove from San Jose to try them out and glad we did! Their kare kare bánh mi was super delicious! Bread was crispy on the... outside and soft on the inside! Their chicken and shrimp spring rolls with the peanut sauce were also delicious and I believethey added apples in it! The watermelon and lychee jelly smoothie was refreshing and not overly sweet! Loved that they had a crispy tofu vegetable option. Bread was good and had a nice crust. Sandwich had interesting textures and... flavors. It was huge which is why it?s so expensive ? almost $20 for a sandwich and tea. Wish they had a half sandwich option.Tea is extremely sweet, too sweet for me. The place is discombobulated as they store their goods all over with no organization. It?s uninviting and dark not to mention it?s hard to form a line with the way it?s set up. This is our GO-TO spot for Vietnamese sandwiches. We usually eat them at the beach since there?s not a lot of place sit besides... their outdoor seating. My favorite would have to be the Crispy Tofu Sandwich with Sriracha on the side? so good! The bread iscrunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The pickled veggies were delicious as well. Had the crispy tofu vegetarian banh mi, and it was great -- flavorful and not overbearing sauce on the tofu, with avocado and... other fresh and pickled veggies.
