Very good selection of tasty brews and my wife enjoyed the cider option. The Hefe was not as good as a true German, bottle... conditioned hefeweizen but darn good for a US interpretation. The London Brown was more bitter than I expected but the overallflavor was good. I like porters so it was fine for me but someone expecting a Newcastle style might find it too bitter. Iordered the chicken sandwich with a side salad. The sandwich was fine, above average in fact. The salad was surprisingly good.All the greens were very fresh and the add-ins were far above what one would expect for this price point. The salad just byitself would be a $12 item at a mid level spot in San Mateo. That makes the sandwich entree with salad upgrade an excellent dealIMO. My wife had the fish n chips. But instead of chips, they served tater tots. I was skeptical but these weren't the tots youremember from high school. These were very crispy, creamy inside and addictive with top notch aioli for dipping. The fish wasvery crispy and cooked perfectly. The service model is order and pay via app. Food and drink are delivered to the table byfriendly staff but it's still a departure from the norm. I suspect we'll see more and more establishments do this to save onlabor. Not a problem for us but some might not like it. Overall a good experience and the limited options were an excellentvalue relative to most Bay area dining. I appreciate the TVs showing the games but not hearing loud sports announcers unlessit's a big event like World Seri. Music is preferable to that. However, the music was a problem. It kept starting and stoppinghalfway through a song. There would be complete silence for five minutes or so then part of another song. Maybe something wasmalfunctioning? I can understand that to some degree but the music being played was totally inappropriate for the atmosphere.It's a pub restaurant not a dance club. I ordered the chicken wings and tater tots. Those wings were perfect. Cooked perfectly with a great flavor and hint of spice.... Then our man sized portion of tots arrived. Again, cooked perfectly with a solid crunch and soft interior. Evenly seasoned withwhat I think was ranch. It was very thick and made my mouth quite happy. Place is awesome if you're looking for a place to catch up with friends and grab a drink. Burger was decent and filling. I'd say... overall, I like the place for its location and ambiance. Design: this is their approach to everything. Humble Sea is known for their unique beers andquirky sea themed names. They have some of the most progressive types of beer in the area. The tap room is full of light with anautrical theme and seafoam green walls. The Pacifica location is much larger than the Santa Cruz brewery. It includes a fullkitchen and a massive 9,000 ft patio with communal beer garden style tables. Plus, there is plenty of free parking. This is agreat date spot. Really liked this place! Great beer selection, with explanations. The menu is fully smartphone based. The loaded tater tots are... a must have! Apparently a new menu item, but it should definitely stay on there! Enjoy your time here! If I had to givefeedback, maybe add some skewer/toothpick to the dish, to avoid going back and forth between touching food and glass. Read more
Great atmosphere and food! Added bacon to the burger and was very worth it. Tots were crispy but very soft and tender on the... inside. Perfect combo with the beer I got! Came in after the hike nearby and was a wonderful treat. Read more
This place is a hidden gem on the coast. Best days to come are Wednesday - Sunday if you are looking for the full menu. Food... is great, grandson loves the hotdogs and tots and I the beer and too cans. Read more
