Good place for Chicken and Dumplings. Coleslaw and Fried Apples make for tasty sides with any meal. The Hashbrown Casserole is... also good. The quality of food and service may depend on the available staff at the time. Read more

I had a late breakfast here. The waitress was sweet, kind, professional and very good at her job. We ordered our food was cold... and didn?t all come together. You could see it wasn?t her fault that the kitchen was backed up. My friend got up and spoke tothe merchandising manager and goodness did things happen. The GM jumped behind the grill and remade our breakfast. They bentover backwards to make sure we were happy. The food was delicious and the customer service was 5 star. I look forward to goingagain soon. I can?t say enough good things about this place. They care about their customers and fix it pleasantly when thingsgo a little sideways. I am just so impressed by the way the whole situation was handled. Like others dining establishments theyare short staffed but never once was an excuse made they jumped into action resolved the issue and we were happy. Read more

05 17 2022 Pretty consistent with the food they serve. Everything has flavor and taste good. Servers are fairly consistent with... attentiveness. 10 28 2017 Still good home food, review same as last times except they have added a person for take out ordersthat checks your order with you so they don't miss anything or leave something out before you leave.. Nice addition. 9 15 16 Its Cracker Barrel, food is good at this location, seldom any issues. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Always a go to whenneeding vegetables and country type cooking. 3.19.22 ** updated review** COVID... more than just a nasty illness. It has affected everything, including great dining... experiences. Anticipated a bit of a wait (Saturday night), but after about 22 minutes we were seated. Took a moment to lookover the 'new' offerings. I still cannot wrap my head around alcohol & Cracker Barrell. It might be a great thing for theirbottom line, but seems incongruous with their theme. Ordered some old standbys, and after 10-15 minutes, our waitress (who hadalready announced she was new when I asked a menu question), stopped by to inform us all the kitchen staff were 'brand new' andhad been behind all night. Our meal would now be @ least 15 more minutes. She was great about asking (and mostly keeping up)with our requests (refills, etc). My husband got the fried fish and it was dark brown and very tough. Had to ask for his side ofhushpuppies, as well as our cornbread. And he had to make a last minute substitute for his beloved dumplings as they had 'runout'. I ordered the house salad as part of my meal, which came to the table with my meal. My meatloaf was not attractive, norwas my other side items. The pintos still had a good taste, and the meatloaf was edible even though I would not give it a ravereview. I did comment to my husband the recipe for the carrots must have changed, because they did not taste like Iremembered. We also noticed the table next to us left quite a bit of food on their plates (not hungry? Not tasty?). I did haveto ask for coffee because I was cold, although in fairness the weather has been erratic and the Temps go up & down. Overall, Ithink the waitress did fair and the chefs have a way to go. It might be a bit before I go back, but with today's economy &market, will probably be on the 3rd or 4th set of 'new' people.... is it impolite to ask the tenure of staff (including kitchen) before you decide to dine????????? ******************************** Great experience. Our server was on spot. Fri Read more

The 3 stars isn't because of our waitress but all the rest. 30 minutes for a breakfast with 2 over hard eggs, bacon, grits I... guess because I could have drank them easier than with a spoon and cheesy hash browns I didn't order. Absolutely no one, including our waitress wearing a mask. For reasons unknown to me wearing a mask is now political; it's unclear why peoplebelieve this now. This is our second stop here and I can promise them it's the last. Read more
