Yummy apps! Tara, our server was perfect! Oh dear! Updating review...went this afternoon to celebrate my Aunt's birthday.... Immediately, the staff was unfriendly! It WAS busy so...I get it. There was a 30 minute wait on the patio despite open largertables. We had a party of 5. We opted to go inside where we weren't even acknowledged after seating. I understand staffingissues when busy and we were in no hurry! Pleasantries, a smile and good customer service go a long way! We left. Sad I missedthe yummy apps! Read more
What an amazing bar and grill!! I had their burger and it's a must have for locals or people visiting the Mentor area! Their... fries are crispy and the burger was juicy. Their Moscow mule was also a great cocktail, you could tell that the bartender knewexactly what he was doing. I don't know about anyone else, but I get SO tired of the same handful of entrees repeated on most restaurant menus. Redhawk... Grille has a great menu and offerings. We were seated immediately in the bar area on a Saturday night. Started with on special$5 Long Island Ice Teas, then cup of homemade mushroom soup. Wonderful lunch outside on the patio in the cooling shade on a hot day. Hot Wings were perfectly cooked. The Buffalo Sauce was... very flavorful with some added spices. I could have had it a little hotter. My wife enjoyed the grilled chicken salad. Read more
The meat was cooked as ordered and sides good quality. They have a good selection of spirits. The service was good but not... great. I can give a pass for the first visit as it seemed that our server was probably quite new. The price point is that of amedium to lower upscale establishment and the ambiance and experience matched for the most part. Read more

Our first time here, we both got the meatloaf dinner. The meatloaf was very unique and flavorful both of us loved it, the... onions are spicy and definitely add to the flavor, however, my mashed potatoes were cold, but his were just right. The serverdid bring me another side to replace them. The bartender makes a fabulous Milky way martini, the atmosphere is quaint and cute,we loved the music mix. Don't think I could have chosen a better venue for a class reunion! Having our own area on the patio was wonderful. It was a... chilly evening but the propane heaters kept everyone comfortable. The appetizer buffet was a hit. We had 85 guests and I didnot hear a single complaint. Having our own bar and wait staff was awesome. Can't speak highly enough about the staff. Theywere very attentive AND kind! My classmates had such a great time, we plan on doing another reunion in 5 years. I'm sure itwill be at the Red Hawk! Read more
