I know inflation is hitting everyone, but the portion sizes were rather shocking. Tip to the owners, just charge extra 2 bucks... to each dish and add in more noodles and meat. Honestly everyone in the family was hungry after eating and we are small. Read more
Haven't been here for a while. Had pretty good food. The pork chop felt americanized though. Service was great. It was a family... run restaurant with the kids running most of the waiting tables. I really appreciated their service. I respect how they wereworking. Read more

The décor reminded me of a 1980s cheap bar. But I'm not here for the décor when I go to a Vietnamese restaurant for PHO. The... restaurant was clean. Floor was clean, tables were clean. Now more importantly the broth. Nice little puddles of fat. A littlebit heavy on the cinnamon which I'm OK with. I enjoy heavy on the spice. Could have had a little more beef flavor for mytaste.... everyone is different. Very generous with the accompaniments. The owner came out and is oh so friendly andaccommodating. Was starving & wanted to go somewhere new & different, so I tried this resturant surprisingly it's near me! Very delicious, like... each plate was $14 or less. Food was fresh & hott! The menu has hard names, the good news that you can just order the # . Ithought the portions were going to be smaller but look at the pictures it was a full plate. Amazing service keep checking on me& giving me constant refill on my water, without me even having to ask her. She even said she is glad I came & will be waitingto see me back soon! Me & my mom ate everything on the plate including the decorations, we got full (even tho we thought we hadto order more food before we actually saw the portion size of the food on the plate). I did go back again since it's great foodfor reasonable price's. Amazing service like last time! Tonight we had pho ga, which you get assemble on your own which is great! My wife was able to as much or as little as she... liked. Little less noodle, part of of the chicken, all of the herbs and veggies. The broth was fantastic with a nice star aniseflavor. The jalapeños were nice and hot. We also got the chicken fried rice. My youngest, who is determined to eat fried riceat every restaurant in the Northwest Suburbs, loved it. Also got the pepper steak. Very high pepper to beef ratio for peoplewho want a little more veggies (like me), peppers and carrots were fantastic. Can't wait to try them again! Ordering from Pho Son Ha was the highlight of our night. The family running the restaurant is incredibly welcoming, warm, and... they even offered us a complimentary Vietnamese tea and extra potstickers. The dining area is currently closed because of COVIDbut the quality of the food is stellar even when carried out. We?re excited to order again in the future! Read more
