Leaving the average star review, but I can?t actually attest to how the food is. We called ahead to the restaurant and asked how... long they were open, and were told ?I?ll close when the crowd dies down. Probably around 9.? We get there at 8 and the ownertells us the kitchen is closed. Glad we drove through a snow storm for that... the owner was really nice and helpful, but wishthere had been food available when we were told there would be food. It also seems like a restaurant should have some sort offixed hours. Read more

It's a Great Little Country Restaurant and Bar. It's right on the way up to Hunter Mountain before your climb up the Mountain.... Very home town cozy spot for Everyone. The Locals also love to meet have a drink and play some pool in the Bar Room ( BAR ROOMIS SEPARATE THEN RESTAURANT) So Very Child friendly also! So stop in and meet some people who can sent you to all the Localsspots that aren't always in your Catskill Mountains Guide! Read more

Great food even my picky son loved it. Ny strip cooked exactly how I ordered it. The crusted green beans were awesome! Hot wings... for me could have been hotter but that's it! I plan on going again! Oh and the waitress was great too! I'm not to far away fromthem and this was my first time... I've been missing out on some good local food! Read more

Well, arrived at 6PM and we were the only dinner guests. The bar side appeared to be busier. We were concerned because of the... lack of others but figured we would give it a try. The bread and soda were clearly not the freshest, but that is probablybecause of the low turnover. To our surprise the entrees were very good and so was dessert. Hope they get busier because itappears to have potential. Read more

Ordered medium rare filet mignon - they gave me piece of uncooked meat telling that this is how exactly it should be. Meat,... mashed potatoes and beans were without any seasoning (even salt), no sauce or something else that will give any taste to thefood (Heinz ketchup on the table). Asked to provide separate checks and guess what? Spaghetti and penne were the same qualityand as someone wrote it's just boiled spaghetti and marinara. Read more

Went here with the family after a 12 mile hike in the Catskills. It was a little after 2 and the restaurant side was almost... empty, although there were quite a few people at the bar. We couldn't tell if our waitress was also the bartender, but shecertainly seemed to be spending more time there rather than serving us. I understand we did not smell the best, but that is noreason to provide poor service. She checked on us perhaps twice in total, and took 10 minutes to even pick up the check. Thefood was just okay, would highly advise against the spaghetti and marinara because it is just that - spaghetti and marinara. There is absolutely no seasoning or added vegetables to the sauce. It tastes like poorly done tomato soup with extra noodles -certainly not worth $10. The calamari was good, but that's about it. Good place for drinks, but not food or service. Read more

Very warm and friendly staff. The chef accommodates gluten-free and vegan requests. Food is delicious and service was excellent.
