The restaurant is really nice. It\'s clean, well ventilated, and bright. The people were super nice. Unfortunately, the food was... not great. The chopped beef on my daughter\'s baked potato was sparse. It looked full, but it was because they didn\'t cut thepotato open enough. I ordered a 2 meat plate so that we could try different menu items. I asked for country sausage and ribs.What I got was sausage and sliced brisket. I didn\'t feel like going back and waiting in line to get my correct order, so I justdecided to eat it. Brisket was surprisingly tough. I\'ve never had tough brisket from a restaurant before. The sausage was fine.I got the baked potato salad and the mac-n-cheese as the sides. Neither were impressive. Everything suffered from a serious lackof seasoning. The most notable offense though was the BBQ sauce. It was practically straight up ketchup! It even looks likeketchup...very red. Overall, we were extremely disappointed. After the way they hyped up the quality of their food when we wereordering, I expected it to be good, at the very least.\n\n*We did not dine in. We took our food to go...hence me not wanting togo back to stand in line to get my correct order. Read more
Great atmosphere and great people! Its a family run place and everything is great, from the service to the food to the... atmosphere. Food might be lower in quantity than other places but they definitely do not compromise on the quality. Great place! Read more
I was visiting a friend in Texas and when they say everything is BIGGER in Texas, Happy Trails made sure this Carolina girl went... home knowing that included the BBQ! I highly recommend any and everyone to stop by and show some love to their taste buds! Highly disappointed. $50+ for below mediocre bbq, brisket was too fatty and greasy, the sausage had a bad taste, the Mac and... cheese was awful, the coleslaw was very bland, and the sauce tasted like watered down ketchup with a tiny amount of seasoning.Overall just not good bbq and way too pricey to not be good quality. Only getting 1 star bc my little enjoyed the ribs. Read more
Dine in was open finally today ???????? I was so glad I finally got to try this new place in town. Hands down, one of the best... brisket sandwiches I?ve had around here. The bun was just right, brisket had good flavor and topped with their bbq sauce?Iwanted 3 more of them. Definitely bringing the wife next time! Staff was super friendly, all smiles, welcoming and engaging. Ireally hope this never changes! Inside was very clean and had a nice layout. The coolest thing (not pictured) was they had aretro styled ice machine. Topped it off for me. I?ll be back soon and next time, I?m getting dessert! Read more

We\'ve been here multiple times now and it\'s absolutely our favorite place for BBQ. We\'ve tried pretty much everything on the... menu and whether you order the platters or individually, you can\'t go wrong with any choices. Our favorites are the brisket andjalapeno cheddar sausage. The service is always amazing. If you can manage to leave room for dessert, their fresh baked cobblerslook delicious. We\'ve never been able to not overeat on the BBQ to actually try them, but maybe next time we\'ll just bringsome dessert home. Read more
