We ordered from here after another local food option took our online order, but was actually closed for the day ???? The man who... took the order over the phone was helpful and kind and our order was ready quickly. They packed it nicely (with utensils andcondiments) and we took it to enjoy at the local park. Everything was delicious! Their little setup is a super cute space and,had we planned to order from there in the first place, I wouldn?t have hesitated to bring the kids and just eat there. They havea cute little grassy area and lots of covered outdoor picnic tables. They were not crazy busy at 5pm on a Saturday and it was agreat vibe! Read more

Excellent drafthouse nestled in the picturesque downtown of Palestine. The staff members were incredibly kind and capable - the... food (and between all 16 of us!) was all delicious. I think we ordered everything on the menu! The kids played darts, the a/cwas working, and the setting was lovely. Great location. Amazing outdoor area! Very kid-friendly. Very good selection beers on tap. A varied menu has options for... everyone. The pork BBQ was delicious. The sauce is the real deal. Very good Cuban Sandwich. Can't wait to try the other menuitems. Saturday's can be crowded but there is plenty of place to park. Read more
Such a fun neat place to visit. We got dinner here before The Polar Express. We had a party of 14 and they gout our food out in... a timely manner even being busy. We sat outside next to pourch heaters which kept us toasty. The kids enjoyed running aroundchecking out the bridge sitting by the bon fire and just having a good family time. We visited Palestine, TX for the Texas Railroad ride. The place was recommended by the hotel staff. The menu looked good for my... family of 5 -2 adults and 3 children after reviewing the reviews and looking at some posted photos online. The place was nice.Although called a pub, it had a nice family vibe. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside on benches. Thechildren loved it. They were able to run around and play whilst waiting for food. I gave it a 3 star based solely on the tasteof the food. The adults ordered 2 different types of burgers - Swiss mushroom and Paty -melt, which came with fries and coleslawand then children got chicken strips with coleslaw and fries. Both burgers tasted exactly the same. They were unseasoned and hadno taste. The chicken strips were overly battered and like the burgers had not taste. Literally I had to search for chickenmeat. I must say, the food was piping hot and the fries and coleslaw were good. My wife and I love a good burger and this fellway way short, especially after reading and being recommended that this got a 4.7 star google review. Read more
Well, I came here for food and maybe that was a mistake. Walking in I didn't know where to go or what to do, both the people in... front of us and behind us were the same. Just lots of people standing around inside confused at the ordering process. Anywaysfries were cold and the thicker cuts were raw. Coincidentally I had the same exact fries at The Harbor restaurant justyesterday, they called them sidewinder fries I think, but they were cooked perfectly at the harbor. Pretty disappointed that youcan't cook a French fry properly. I got the wagyu burger on special, it tasted exactly like a frozen patty with no seasoning.Looking at the patty I could tell it was cooked on a flat top. Very disappointing. Cole slaw had a strong taste of vinegar andwas very watery, I definitely think they mix red wine vinegar in there. It was odd for me, I did not enjoy. The Philly had goodflavor but was very very dry. I think a proper philly needs mayo or something. Sorry to throw so much shade on this place but Idid not enjoy the food whatsoever. Staff seemed very friendly, lots of beer and wine.
