The Subway on W. Oak Street in Palestine always has good food and pleasant staff members.
My two friends and I went through the drive thru to get our meals. This Subway is on Oak Street in Palestine, TX. One of my... friends wanted a meatball sandwich but they were out of meatballs. So my friend ordered a foot long steak sandwich. I got asteak sandwich too. But I got the chipotle southwest dressing while my friend got the ranch dressing. When we got oursandwiches at the window, they were wrapped in sandwich paper but they weren't marked so we didn't know whose sandwich waswhose. They didn't tell us which sandwich belonged to who either. We had to unwrap the sandwiches and open them up to see whatwas inside to tell which sandwich belonged to who. Also my friend got too many veggies in her sandwich. She threw her tomatoesout after we left the drive thru. There may have been some miscommunication on her part or the Subway people may have mixed itup by mistake; I'm not really sure. One of my favorites. Employees are never rude, food bar always looks fresh and they have good quality food.
The service was very friendly and fast! We are on a road trip and stopped to pick up dinner which was delicious! Will definitely... stop again whenever we're passing through again. Read more
They work hard and work the drive through quickly. Sometimes the vegetables are not washed right. They charged $12 for a regular... chicken wrap with avocado (no chips or drink included) maybe they are all in training at the time. Maybe the magement changedhands in the past few weeks. Read more
This Subway gets two stars only for the customer service after 8:00pm. Granted it's understandable if it's 10 min till 9:00, but... these folks see you drive/walk up and they run to the back and hide. The time previous to this I got in the drive through lineat 8:30 with two cars ahead of me, who received their sandwiches. When I pulled up at 8:48 which seemed like an unusually longwait spent almost entirely on the second car they told me they were closed after I had waited in line for almost 20 minutes.Tonight it was about 12 minutes till 9:00 and they ran straight to the back when I pulled into the parking space, and I couldsee everything had already been put up. I don't hold this against the employees honestly, this store needs to change theirclosing time to 8:30 if they want their employees leaving by 9:00. The store on the opposite side of town will be getting allof my business (which are $50 minimum) from this point on. I almost never leave a review much less a negative one like this andI understand their line of thought, but that's the nature of the business their in. Read more
