If I could eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be sweet potato fries from The Filling Station. If you have not tried... them yet RUN and ask for their truffle aioli sauce on the side. I hope their recipes are passed down for generations to come soI can bring my kids and grand kids. I?ve been to two of these. One on haverstraw and one in palisades. The food is good. If you?re looking for a nice greasy burger... and decent fries, this place is good. The milkshakes were subpar. Also, the bees! They?re all over the soda fountain which Iget- but I don?t want to get a soda at the risk of being stung! Good food.. the food is a 3-4 star.. but the building's surrounding area is disgusting, garbage everywhere. Boxes and equipment... scattered around the restaurant. dirty picnic tables, people were sitting on the ground to eat. The filling station is an apt name for this place as bikers, hikers, and other outdoorsmen and women can come here to fill up... after they have depleted everything they had. I come here after work because my commute passes through this restaurant. However, I am reviewing now because this restaurant gave me all the fuel I needed after my 7 hour hike. I had the TFS burgerand it was what I needed. They serve craft beers too which was needed too. Afterwards, I took a Uber home as I could not doanother 7 hour hike back. Read more

The food was really good well prepared and tasty. the condiments were not as varied. So you order a very fancy burger in you get... very little to put on the burger to flavour it just tomato ketchup and mustard that's it. We tried some very expensive burgersand they were delicious remarkably flavours before we also tried the flavoured French Fries which were delicious as well and wehad the sweet potato fries which were very delicious I would highly recommend eating here. My husband and I decided to come here for lunch on a Sunday. It was packed. We parked our car in the back and saw a lot of... motorcycles and bikes. I guess this place is successful since it is on a busy road shared by motorists and cyclists and the onlyeatery around. Ordered the American Kobe burger and The Pile Up burger with sweet potato fries. We saw the sweet potatoe friesare just packaged fries that they dump into the fryer. They said the Kobe burger has nothing on it so I added some lettuce,cheese, tomatoes and pickles. Pickles were free but each extra topping was extra. With a soda our total was around $37. Not badbut we thought the burgers could've been better. They were smaller than I imagined and they were very salty. I think Shake Shackmakes better burgers. Read more
