I just went to Panda Express location in Palm coast (100 and Belle Terre). My first time going to this location. Honestly, I... regret going there. I order 2 entrees and 1 side, plus chicken egg roll. Fried rice had absolute no flavor. Even with the addedsauce. The orange chicken had nothing to talk about, extremely tangy flavor. I remember from other places better flavor oforange and kind like sweet. This one was completely different. My second entree was the beef with onions and papers. This onewas just all covered with bread or whatever they use. Once again, not flavor at all and to ended up I chewed one of the onionsand had the skin too. I had to spit it out. (Gross) Finally the chicken egg roll. This was delicious, nice flavor, texture andcrispy. The coke from the fountain machine was bad, missing some sirup, very watery. So, after $26.00 per 2 meals the winnerswere my doggies. I brought everything home and they eat it all. Of course, I did not ask how it was. I knew the answer. Lol Ihave to say. The service was fast and very nice from the reps. Tables, chairs and floor needs a good cleaning. Place isdirty. In general. Bad food, semi expensive for what you get and dirty place. I love Panda Express, but I usually regret going to this one. The food here is very inconsistent. One day it?ll be fine, then... the next it?ll be terrible. Orange Chicken is usually my go-to when I decide to eat Panda, but never at this location. TheOrange Chicken here is usually way overcooked and too crispy, and the sauce is always overbearing. If you open your box, thefumes from the Orange Chicken are so strong you?d think you?re huffing tear gas. Eating it is actually worse because they?recrunchy. I don?t know how they turn out like they do here? Beijing beef is really good, but very inconsistent here. Sometimeswhen I get it, the breading slides right off of it making the consistency of it? Unpleasurable. Other times it?ll be OK. Thepremium beef options are usually really good & can be healthy with white rice! I do recommend that 100%. The other entrees canbe good, but as I said, overall it?s very inconsistent. The staff are actually pretty friendly and are (and always have been)very pleasant. Except the manager (He was dressed differently so I assume he was managing). There?s just no customer service,just work. Seems like someone I wouldn?t like working with. Or have taking my order. Food was great. A young lady helped me she seemed kind of new. I , actually felt bad for her. She was making my plate and the... manager was watching from afar and snatched the plate out of her hand and weighed it. He began to belittle her in front ofeveryone. I felt so bad for her. This is why places like this can not keep staff. Managers need to be more caring and helpful.Hopefully this young lady still has her job. I give three stars for the delicious food, her help , but the managers attitudesucked. Read more
First they stopped the plum sauce, now they don't offer flippin WARM SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE like they used to????? they told me... that they no longer have the little plastic cups and lids to put it in, and is now only offering packets of sweet and sour? Nobody from corporate wants to explain. No district manager. Nobody cares anymore. Sweet and sour sauce is such an importantpart of the flavor profile, why would you mess with that? Cups?? Really?? Walked in told my order. There was barley any orange chicken left she looked at it then looked back at me and looked at it. was... going to wait for more to be made when what I can assume the manager told her there should be enough. It was not a normal orderand looked like all the left over bits she was basically scraping the pan to have enough. It went into a bag I payed and justthrew it in the trash can and walked out. Make sure you make time to wait when coming in. The last 5 of 6 visits over the course of a few months there has been next to... nothing ready. Not just during dinner rush or near close. One would think that there would always be the most popular item(s) instock atleast.. maybe have orange chicken and teriyaki chicken about ready to go at all times? Have to wait 10 or 15 for it tocook and 3 times my other entrees are just sitting out getting cold. Read more
