First and foremost I don?t eat much seafood at all. Rarely, if ever. Just not a fan of it. But I love hush puppies so we decided... to try this place. Nice looking restaurant with ample parking. Allow to-go orders and have to-go parking and a to-go entrancefor pickup. We tried the hush puppies which I thought tasted great. Loved the flavor? but they were small. Joe?s Crab Shackserved better pups simply because they are larger. We tried the cheese sticks because the photo on the menu looked homemade anddelicious. They appeared not homemade and more like frozen and cooked. Tasted like a typical fast food cheese stick. They wereno better than Sonic. Lastly, we ordered the chicken tender meal with 4 chicken strips and fries. The chicken varied in size. Iwould have liked a little more chicken for $15 and less fries. There were enough fries for several people in one meal. Frieswere good and fresh. I did like the chicken - was just not thrilled with the amount of it. The Thai Chili sauce was great. No doubts this is the best boiled seafood I ever tried. The combos offer a wide variety of seafood which you can combine to get... your most desired plate. The corn and potato are delicious and offer you very nice bits which combine nicely with the seafoodmeat. On the top of that, the juicy Special sauce is dressed all over the food to give the perfect punch. Keep up the goodwork! Read more
Our server was Neesie (not sure how to spell that) and she was wonderful. The service was great. (Not just Neesie, the hostess... was also helpful.) The food was fun and tasted good. We definitely enjoyed the experience. Read more
Delicious food! Big portions, so sharing is a great option to save money. The prices aren't outrageous though, we were impressed... with the quality of food. They give you bibs, gloves, wetwipes and all utensils needed to get your seafood open and eaten! Read more
We visited Red Crab for our first time this week, a late lunch on Sunday with friends. The establishment had a fun atmosphere... and appeared to be clean. We really enjoyed the pirate statue that welcomed us. Our server, Diamond, was courteous andprofessional. I found the menu difficult to understand as far as what was available (I didn't realize I could order the MondaySpecial on Sunday and didn't understand the pricing on the combos.) That being said, my husband and I kept it simple and eachordered the Lobster Roll with regular fries. It tasted fine, but we were disappointed by the bread-to-lobster ratio. The amountof lobster was skimpy for a $21 sandwich. Our friends, who had been there previously, understood the menu and ordered seafoodcombinations. They receive generous amounts of food for just a few dollars more than the sandwiches. They allowed me to taste ashrimp and a mussel...Yum! Delicious! We plan to return and order a combos next time. I have literally been to this establishment 4xs and today will be 5! ???? My husband and I have had absolutely awesome food... here every time! We are from New England so know good seafood and especially haddock. It was by far the best haddock we haveever had in the 6 years we have lived here! Plus was only $12.00! The lobster roll was very good but had a bit too much lettucein it. Other than that it was super tasty. Shrimp basket was cooked to perfection with decent size shrimp and also priced veryreasonable! The boils are amazing and everyone around us were saying how good they were. Staff is friendly and very efficient. The manager Caitlin is so friendly and you can tell she is giving it her all! Restaurant was clean, stuff was helpful and friendly. Bathroom was clean. Clam chowder was delicious lots of clams not to many... potatoes ????. Lobster ???? roll not enough lobster ???? to much lettuce ???? should have been told lettuce ???? was on theroll. Roll was soft and good to big for the amount of lobster ???? though. Read more
