I enjoyed this place so much I had to revisit during my short stay in PD. The Frank Sinatra impersonator was great and the... energy was amazing. The food here was pretty good, wasn't over salted and the house made cheesecake and rice pudding was done nicely. Not overly... sweet and balanced. If you ask they'll heat up the rice pudding a bit. The Cuban cheesesteak variation was good, I recently camefrom philly and tried Pat's and genos and those cheesesteaks are way over hyped and they're just living off their name it seems.This cheesesteak was much more flavorful and more care went into it. Not trying to make a fuss about rice but lots restaurantscan't rice right but this rice was really enjoyable not mush and not dry. The plantains here were some of the best I had, firmnot mushy or burned. It be nice if they incorporated some of these plantains in their housemade desserts. Wish they had a fewmore sauces to go with stuff tho. Read more

One of the best places in town. Beautiful restaurant for small or large parties. Great food, great service, outstanding... atmosphere, 3 bars, live music, dance floor, outdoor patio with mister, bar, and koi pond. Family owned, excellent menu. Ahituna, calamari, duck wings, duck fat fries. fresh everything. American, Peruvian, Cuban, with a touch of .Mexican couisine.Happy hour will make you happy. Read more
Babaloo really surprised me. By the looks of the branding and cheesy name I didn’t have high expectations but they weren’t... too bad. We sat at the bar which has a deal where you get an item that includes a draft beer. The standout was the duck fatfries. Probably some of the best I’ve had. Unfortunately the chicken sandwich is dry so that’s something they may want toaddress with a sauce. Just beware tho, they have a live band the permeates throughout the whole restaurant. The bartender saidthey are there every night so that can be really annoying if you are trying to have a relaxing meal, you may wanna pass. Read more
The food was excellent! The service was great. The only thing that needs improvement is the bartender. I was deciding between... two different wines and I asked to sample both and the server had to talk him into it, not common when you're buying a bottle.He poured the wrong one. His pours were barely enough to taste it. And he ended up giving me the bottle that was already open.Bartending 101 teaches when someone buys a bottle of wine, the server is supposed to open it at the table. But the food is goodenough to bring me back and that's what matters most. Read more
