Went in today and only ordered a frozen drink, doesn't work, was offered "mystery' but they didn't know what it was. Asked for a... shake. Guy had to ask if machine was working, yes, it is. But it wasn't. I saw three people who were working. One was doingnothing, another came in and asked the third if he knew how to work the machine, but she turned and pivoted back out. I was at the Burger king inside Wal-Mart in Palm Desert at around 6:55 pm. It was not a busy time. Few people in the dining area... and only 1 family in front of me to place an order. I ordered a value cheeseburger with NO special request. I stood at thepick-up counter thinking it couldn't take very long. There were 3 workers on duty. One taking orders, one bagging orders tohand out and a cook. I waited 10 minutes and then asked if there was a reason why they had not giving me my cheeseburger. Firstshe told me that my order was not marked expedited then said I was told that it had already been given to you. I had stood atthe pick-up counter for 10 minutes and she never asked my name for my order. I finally said just give me back my money I don'twant the food. She said she couldn't do that I would have to wait for the manager. Finally the boy who was cooking (Jay) cameup. I asked if he was the manager and he said he was the shift lead. I said I want the manager and he said he was gone. I askedfor his name and he would not give it to me. I could only read his name on the name tag. After 15 minutes I left without everreceiving food or my money back. The 3 people working did not care about taking care of the customers. These are the kind ofpeople who want to demand $15. an hour and shouldn't even have the job. This is the Burger King located within Walmart. Surprisingly it's also the BEST Burger King I've ever been in. It's SO CLEAN. ... They're constantly cleaning. The staff are always very friendly, articulate and fast. The manager works the front line and isright there anytime an employee needs help. You can see him in the picture working. The iced tea is seriously fresh brewed (alsoby the manager) it's still hot and they give you lots of ice since the tea is hot. The food is always fresh and well made. Theyeven have a week day label on the big ketchup pump so it gets replaced very frequently. I've never see a fast food restaurantbother with that. I'm not a huge fast food fan because I'm usually scared of the quality but I always get a Whopper when I'm atthis Walmart. Read more
